Board partners are going to price at whatever they want anyway.
If that is truly the case and that the MSRP is virtually meaningless, then it is an even more retarded way to step on your own dick. That would mean pricing the non-XT version at $499 would gain you all the praise of the consumers and reviewers at literally zero cost. There is absolutely no reason not to do it.

If reports are to be believed they've been stocking stores with 9070s for a bit now to potentially not be a paper launch. Time will tell.

Either way it's a good competitive price against the 5070ti. Plus hopefully the AMD cards are fully populated with components.

Usually the major OEM's like Dell and HP are terrible prebuilts.

Dell doesn't have any ryzen desktops but it's changing this year.

I would not recommend and Alienware to anyone.

Honestly that’s good advice for 90% of life and 95% of people can’t even manage to do.
I spend most of my work days in criminal court and buddy, you don't know how right you are. If more people just showed up on time and didn't shit the bed, the world would be a completely different place.

Man Dell really destroyed Alienware. I bought 3-4 of their systems. Used to be able to order part of a system cheaper than you could build yourself then add bits yourself.

The DIY parts market has really matured since then.

Only bought 1 Alienware in the late 2000s. Didn't even know they were still competing in the marketplace.

Good roundup of the 9070 XTs for those that are considering. PTM7950 is apparently a Honeywell thermal compound that a lot of people recommend on account of it lasting longer than standard TIM or pads.

If I can do it for under $3k I'll probably look at one of the prebuilt with a 9070 XT. Guess we'll know Wednesday what is really available? Wish performance comparison stuff had better leaks.

I am sad to see that the Nitro uses the new power cables, but the Red Devil continues to use its 3x 8-pin and have a much beefier cooler (especially compared to the Hellhound). Not as thicc as XFX though and once again I want to see noise tests on theirs given their 79xx performance.

Imagine winning by just showing up and not shitting the bed.

Knew someone that got hired. "Took a vacation" the first week. Then when we showed up was pissed/shocked he got fired. It all worked out. He was later elected to the city coucil and was forever till he retired. No shitting. Showing up is for suckers when you can get into politics.
