I wonder if we could get surgery to replace our old damaged myelin sheathing with some kind of cool new nanomaterial that conducts better to help us old people with reflexes? I wanna see some 70 year olds in the league dammit.
It's not impossible. I honestly think it deals w/ more time investment, and a good work out routine. It's just slightly strange socially for a 25+ something to jump into a "professional" scene without an extensive background for the last 11-13 year backing of proper conditioning. Most people who are older can't invest nearly as much time as they use to, let a lone leave a job or social life, or deal with the younger crowd. I've tried numerous times to my friends 14-15yr old brother that I could make him a pro if he lets me coach him, but he can't get over a lot of the minor immature problems, which is reasonable.

If you're really concerned with reflexes and such, honestly just spend 10-20 minutes aim warm ups every day; literally, followed by x amount of victories in death match move into competitive. It's something that worked for my friend. There are other things like, don't play competitive or anything serious after a days work, or school. Either do it fresh off of a nap, wake-up, or workout where your brain is less fried and way more alert. You'll be these guys in no time.

I’m functionally retarded. Can someone explain those zen changes to me? I can’t tell wtf is going on.

Nm I see it now on the bottom right of the screen. That is a very nice change.

What do you guys think about being a filler? Do any of you have success filling whatever role (will almost always be tank or support) isn’t picked at the start of a match? I enjoy playing all roles, so I’ve been trying my best lately to simply fill, but I’m seeing wildly mixed results. its frustrating playing tank or suppprt and seeing nothing dying on the enemy team. I’m wondering if I’d be better off locking a dps and sticking to my guns (pun intended) for better or worse.

It depends on your own ability and whether you filling that particular role strengthens the team on the whole, or whether you're better just playing your main even if it doesn't exactly fit the team comp. And it also depends greatly on your rating.

For example, Im diamond to master rating normally. If I played on a smurf Im much better just playing soldier at low ratings because my mechanics are much better than my opponents and I do a lot more for the team than I would by filling a second healer (most of the time). As I get closer to my true rating, its much better if I fill for team roles because of how powerful two supports are.

I feel like up to diamond every team benefits greatly from having at least one shield tank, mercy and soldier, and that these 3 (types of) heroes offer much more than any of the others due to their power in relation to required mechanics. If your aim and actual dps uptime is good, then id play soldier over anything else and beg someone to play mercy and a shield tank, which will give you freelo to mid plat.

Also just being aware of smurfs and that there is not much you can do about a level 25 genji smurf murdering your entire team I guess is part of it. Every single one of my games today had at least one smurf/booster in it.

main clip is kind of misleading, he makes it sound like it's -just- from him picking bastion lol

the other clips show him actually throwing, that dude is comically toxic. How is he in the world cup and OWL? i'm guessing he won't be for much longer at that rate lol

Oh man i can't understand a word he says on his stream lmao, god damn french canadian accent is one thing, then the guy talks 300 words per second. Yikes

I don't get how anyone stands that kid, he is fucking autistic on another level. I've seen one stream of his and it is crystal clear he has high functioning autism.

Edit: Oh look he was having another autistic breakdown on his stream today.

I bet Dallas kicks him out soon. It's not like he's one of their most important player.

Save this for a time when you feel bad for having a bad round. Take comfort in the knowledge that you will never be as bad as I was here:
