My team is level 20. I think the plan is to head back to Gaddai Fort for a level or two, then hit ghosts in Halnir for 2-3 levels, and onward from there to Hangor. Theres content, but not options.

I would guess probably not. SHM spell lines do not automatically move to the new spells for ... the usual reason, this is early alpha and buggy.

Most of us are on Aveous. I know you'll remember the ENC stuff easy enough. No charm, so you can't solo worth dick, but groups will want you day and night for buffs and mez.

I played all evening and stayed up way too late to craft a shield. Now I see that they are doing 'several hours of maintenance' at 6pm my time aka right after work FML.
My biggest disapointment so far is that I can't link items ingame because man I was mighty proud of this bad boy! CRUDE kite shield

Here's the thing. Because its an EQ-style game that often involves 'camps' and 'pulling' mobs you have some moderate downtime. As a result you have a chance to socially interact with people via /occ and party chat much MUCH more than you have during any other modern MMO. I have actually *gasp* made a few friends in this game and its incredibly weird how good that feels.

Solo for enc = mez, delayed wound and the will debuff repeat

Patch day soon? Oh, sorry to any summoners in advance. Any class I choose is immediately nerfed. I finally rolled a necro in EQ1, and the very next day, 20 years after release, they changed our life tap over time to stop healing when the mob is dead. Who does that?! lol

Oh and I think delayed wound scales with weapon damage of all things to followup if you're solo'ing with Enchanter. You can sneak in flux and shock too or dot and melee to finish when ones that flee get low too.
Yellows and evens are the way up using this method. It's 30% slower than wizard or so in our measuring but you're an enchanter and will get loads more group tells.
