There is a fine line in "immersion" where you make tedium for the sake of tedium. Which is gay. On the flip side you streamline everything for the sake of convenience. Also making it gay. It is very easy to go down the path of streamline everything though. Next thing you know you're an Ubisoft game or Retail WOW where players just mindlessly follow minimap icons and have no idea what anything is for.
By definition a MMO is meant to waste your time. You want it to make you want to waste your time.

Immersion is great. But there are limits. Being completely blind in the dark is well past those limits. It makes the game unplayable in caves or at night. Infravision back in EQ is about as low as you want to go in that regards. The world looks different at night, but you can still get around and target things.

Im usually on 0, like was asked above. Ill be playing Titusraco full time till I hit the proverbial "soft roof" of groups. Looks like thats about mid 20's right now - but by the time I get there, it'll probably have moved up a bit.Daidraco where you been, homie?
Chat and all its subordinate systems being shared across shards is probably my number one request right now. The server populations are so low, overall, that it feels like every who I do just pulls up a billion people under lvl 10 and only a handful of people above lvl 10. Filter sucks, and I think it still only pulls up what it "wants" to pull up.
On leg day, or really just after I do squats and split squats - my thighs dont want me to sit the fuck down at all. Ill be hopping around like a retard with a cramp after that. But Ive got the flu right now and Ive turned into a literal vegetable. lol

On a separate note - All the items that are coming out of Orcs in AVP ... theyre numerous. Like a few pieces are nice, but most are "meh"... Do NOT pay any substantial amount of gold for these pieces. Great having tier 2 Leather and Chain, sure. But that shit is so gah'damn plentiful, that we literally werent rolling on shit anymore after about an hour of doing it our first time yesterday. The Mace I use, which is shitty 1 wis / 1 agi, I saw that at the beginning of the day and the guy was trying to sell it to me for 9 gold. Bro.. I saw at least a dozen of them yesterday. I was there for most of the day as I recoup, but still though.
Also, the higher I get.. and the more Im around people that are early adopters of this game. The more Im around people in their late 20's and early 30's.. Shalazam aint got shit on that website for gear. Like the Vicar set is barely on that site for Cleric, and it doesnt even tell you what the schematic is ... I really wish a proper website would come out. Even if its a subscription service for 1.99 a month or something like Allakhazam is.

Why were people using torches outside? You can up the gamma in the calibration menu on the bottom right of the server select screen. Haven't used a torch since my first play session. Only time it feels dark now is for like 2-3min when it first turns night and then its all good.

I got that mace, then a nice rogue in HC group gave me a 10dmg 2wis 1con mace, so now I need to decide what to do with the other one.
My shammy is 15 now. The technique at 15 is a free 10s HOT that heals 4 per second. It is amazing. I did solo heals for the entirety of the group. Only pullers died a couple times on overpulls and spiders.
What times are you playing? Wouldn't mind hitting 0 shard to chillax and group some.

Im getting ready to hit 20 sometime today. I just gotta devote myself to making a group.. like always, for whatever reason. But you should catch once Im in my 20's cause it really is getting harder to find people. Solo EXP is too high, so some classes that we actually depend on.. would rather solo, than be in a group.
If they want to keep solo exp in its current form, fine. Whatever. But we desperately need another class that is group reliant like a cleric, that can mez. I cant count how many times I find tanks LFG that I could make a group with, but all the necros and enchanters are off soloing in EP or SP. Its aggravating as shit.

To be fair I would rather get ass tier xp solo than deal with a shitty group regardless of class or anything else. Just tell me what times you are playing and if it's not when I am asleep we can burn things down. Before the HC group I was just duoing shit with a nice guy who left the gui;d to hang out with a friend of his. We both got better xp off the AVP orcs that way than we were getting solo.
Do CLR get all the anti-undead shit like necros and PLD?
