I feel like anytime we have a playdate with any kids, or even kids who go to daycare, we are sick the next day. Like 90% of the time.
Wife is in labor... probably an hour before we head to the hospital.
Grats fool!
Dude always thinking about money. Didn't know your wife was pregnant.
Congrats dude!
This is your first?Got yah.
Wifes contractions are all over the place still after ~16 hours.
This is your first?
I'm hoping my wife isn't early, though I feel like she's going to be.
There are lots of very good reasons for natural childbirth. Youre experiencing one of them now, 36+ hours labors. Epidurals slow labor, so they give pitocin, which makes the next contractions more painful, so they give more painkillers. Its an endless cycle of unnecessary interventions that make the process worse for both mom and baby in the name of reducing pain.Yeah, first.
Wife is almost at the pushing stage after 36+ hours. Hard to tell when labor really started but she started feeling contractions, etc on Monday night.
I will never understand people who go for nature childbirth. Wife has been on the epidural for 8 hours now... Her pain prior to that was hard to watch.

My wife is bad ass. Three natural births, the last one at home.
Congrats, in any case. No matter how they come into the world these little snot factories are the best thing in life.

Epidural did not go in until after 24 hours. Wife has not slept in 2 days at that point. (Neither has I)
My wife's first labor was pretty long. Water broke at 7am on Friday, checked into the hospital at noon Friday, Baby born Sunday at ~3am. Had to go on Pitocin to induce artifical cramps because of the water breaking before actual labor began. She was miserable... I never really raised my voice except to explain to the staff about the need for the anesthesiologist to hurry his ass up and put in the epidural.Epidural did not go in until after 24 hours.
