it's gonna be a total fluff piece. Ghazzy and DMT do not have the balls to ask serious questions. Ghazzy is gonna rambles on about minion AI, and convocation not being in the game. DMT will just spew general nonsense about melee and shit.

Sunday interview is to buy time with some content that looks update related but is really just talking. I don't think the patch is going to be live for at least a week or two after that. At some point they need to again focus on PoE1 design and that league can't be ass. People had to wait a long fucking time for it plus if you probably need it to last while you do PoE2 shit. It has to at least be good.

Yeah at this point it feels like both games are going to suffer and it sucks. Enjoyed my time with the new shiny, but it needs a lot of updates before it's something I can pour 1000 hours into.

POE1 has gone so long without a new league and I really think whatever they release next is going to be mid at best.

Am one level away from matching my warrior, and once I hit 87 I think I'm going to wait for a decent patch before I log back in. Also, tried the 4th ascendancy as monk and jesus the last floor is terrible for melee. Made it to 3 rooms before the boss, but between the boon that reduced my max honor, and the insane amount of ranged machine-gun bullshit, yeah - fuck that.

I'm sure I could make it to the boss if I get lucky with boons, but not really trying to keep attempting just to waste 30+ minutes and die to the boss.

If we're only getting two PoE1 leagues in 2025 they need to be fucking bangers. If they release something on par with Lake of Kalandra and then try and stretch it out for six months while they work on PoE2 they're going to quickly burn through the good will they've built up as a company.

Should just ditch POE1 and pump all the resources into POE2. It's their future cash cow and they owe players nothing other than to keep the servers running so people can stare at their standard loot stash NFTs.

Pretty sure they've been doing 90% that already. They certainly owe players for supporter packs bought over the last few years as "won't affect PoE1" was a lie.

We'll know for sure by year's end but at the moment I think it's more likely PoE1 is already in sunset mode than not.

is there a way to t ell what "level of map" i need to be up to for each book of boss + atlast points to drop? is it like 79, 80,81,82, 83? does the +boss map dificulty node help for that?

i did one level 80, got a book. then did a level 80 and didn't get one. hmm

It’s one thing to brick an item or single map. Being capable of bricking an atlas and the answer being “you’re done for the league” or “make a new account” is fucking retarded.

I have massively sucked at this game. However, it’s not a good thing that rather than log in last night I opted to work on fluid mechanics problems.
