Didnt even know there was a discord, but I'm down to join. I did join the POE1 guild but never actually talked aside from an occasional hello.Well it seems like a sizeable number of you fuckers are excited over PoE2 which is great since it seems like it's gonna be a big improvement over PoE1 .. I played PoE a little here and there but never spent a dime on any of it nor really dove into it.. the complexity of it with all the skill tree shit and 1000,0000,000 items for currency just made me glaze over and just never had the desire to get over that learning curve or get a PHD in trading shit.
Still this seems to have made the new player experience a bit better while still having more shit than I can think of it learn so I am going to be diving into it blind once it releases. Which honestly is probably the best way to enjoy the first playthrough.
Since I don't have any money spent on PoE1 or any of the cosmetic bullshit or stash tabs I am wondering how much extra is worth buying on this? I am going to for sure buy at least the $30 pack but is it worth it to snag the $60 like how much is needed to unlock a good amount of stash tabs and whatnot? I am not going to buy the $480 bullshit but whats a good ROI in your guys opinions on the currency?
Also hopefully we can get a few more people to use the discord some as when a new game launches is a good time to get to interact with a good number of forum goers. If anyone has any requests for channels or anything let me know I'll set it up. Right now I went ahead and renamed the D4 section since that game is pickled pig dicks.
I see Janx and a few others on recently but I have assumed they have been playing classic WoW.
Unique tab is bait in poe1. Definitely would not purchase that one early
Hell no I haven't been playing WoW. Stupid xbox app auto launches the blizzard client now and I just got tired of closing it every time.Well it seems like a sizeable number of you fuckers are excited over PoE2 which is great since it seems like it's gonna be a big improvement over PoE1 .. I haven’t played in two years. But I specifically mean ice nova to where it isn’t some ridiculous meme build again. Maybe it isn’t. I have intentionally taken time off because I knew PoE 2 was going to be an addiction fest for me.What do you mean, real return? Cyclone is a viable trigger, you just don't see it because lancing steel of spraying is better.
Yeah, that build is still around. It hasn't received anything in quite a while, so it's not meta like its Archmage cousin is.I haven’t played in two years. Click to move is there as always if you prefer that.Yeah it only holds one of each unique which fills up fast. Stuck them in there while doing campaign to disenchant when I got my disenchanter up to max level to disenchant uniques but I found out once you put one item you couldn't put in another of the same.
I'm still in wait and see mode. I'll probably wait until the game goes live and free because I'm not sure WASD and me will work together that well, but that's a me problem.
Got 400 points or so from buying a couple of supporter packs. So if I go that way got a few points to spend on tabs or whatever.
For those of you newish to poe and planning to try poe2, keep in mind a lot of the ‘gameplay’ in Poe was not the game, but path of building.
From what I've gathered the mercenary plays "better" with WASD but I think click to move will work just fine there as well.Ok thanks, I missed that. I might buy a key then that had me pretty concerned. I would like to buy a new map device but they are all so large and my hideout is tiny. The timekeeper one just went off sale, sounded cool but I don't need a constant reminder of how slow I am lol.
