To play the game and not feel like you are hindered by the stash tab (you get the 4 non-premium tabs to start) you only need the following:
Currency Tab - 75 points
Fragment Tab - 75 points
Premium Tabx2 - 80 points
So 230 points will get you 8 tabs in the non-sale times, the currency and frag tabs alone will go a super long way in not cluttering the other 6 tabs and the 2x premium tabs allow you to trade on the POE site. I know that everyone will say that Map tab is mandatory, but with the changes to maps we don't even know if you need the map tab because you might just hold onto stackable maps of each tier and then roll them as you need them in the over-map.

yeah, wasd is great for aiming, and games with less skills to use. see Vrising.
without 5 flask slots, thats a big shift as well. Ought to make wasd more functional.
It can make the games feel more dumbed down, and actiony though.
I tried 40k Inquisitor recently. holyshit is that games default controls just total ass.

It plays great (or at least as great as a mediocre game can play) with gamepad though. V Rising would have been much better with gamepad too, if not for the retarded camera rotation controls. I'm expecting/hoping for the same from PoE2, especially for a class like mercenary. Got some tendonitis going on that makes kb/m impossible for more than a few minutes at a time but doesn't bug me at all using a gamepad.

Only way Ive found is by looking over my transaction history (i had to do the same thing this morning to see what I had and what else I needed to buy).
Log into the PoE website. Click your account name in the upper left corner (just above your character portrait). From the menu options on the right hit View Transactions, then hit the View Microtransactions button and you will see a list of everything you spent money on.

I think you can go to wealthyexile.com and press edit tabs to see a full list of tabs (i think its the full list atleast) once you're logged in.
However i don't know if maybe it won't work if you don't have a character in the last league or something.

I just listened to an interview with Jonathan and he said some stuff I found funny.
The first was that a while back when they first started doing closed beta test, new players liked the game more than PoE 1 players did. Now it's about even.
The second was that new players found the game easier than PoE 1 players did because they tried to apply their knowledge of poE 1 to PoE 2 and it didn't work because the games are different.
I just thought that was interesting, I followed the game closely and know what changed, but I'm getting really curious on just how much it's changing the actual gameplay.

Well it sounds like fundamentally you have to engage with mechanics the entire time and not just hyper optimize builds past 95% of it. Which means it'll be very familiar to shitters like me who didn't follow build guides and probably hell on earth to the rainbow clown sparkler explosion build masters out there.

We don't know what will be considered fragments in poe2. In poe1 they are things like scarabs and boss invitations/breachstones/legion.
The biggest one sticking out to me right now is the new runes. Will those be fragments or will they have their own, new tab (probably the latter)

You're fine for now, just wait for the next stash tab sale (which is probably this weekend if they're still doing it every 3 weeks) and ask again once people have an idea of what's actually important in PoE2.

If POE2 starts to go that direction, Ill bounce out of it as soon as I get to that point too. Cant stand when these "exile-like" games start to blanket the screen with spell effects. Its not fun in the least.

I never understood the idea of copying someone else's build. Isn't a lot of the fun of these kinda games figuring out for yourself what works? It is for me at least.

I have a feeling the game will be more forgiving to non-optimized build. You're still going to be optimized to push toward the hardest stuff, but a non-optimized build will get you further than in PoE1.
I think it will be harder to brick a character too, not just because of easier respec but because of how they reworked the skill tree.
That's just a feeling I get though
