For whatever reason, about 10-15% of the time I use a move skill I get rubber banding. That Bodyswap build would be unplayable for me, I would have no idea where I am most of the time. I play Texas servers from Canada, and it is not that great.

lol, they denied my new idea too. It was going to be for a Reliquary Key (of any type). They made an interesting note that all reliquary keys are always going to be legacy items, and will never be a permanent fixture of the game.

Sooo, onto the next idea. I think it will also be neat, but not as exciting as a Reliquary Key would be.

I have less than zero drive for a variety of reasons. I've gotten thru the acts halfway twice now. Got 2 ex before finishing the story. Just meh, don't even want to log in and dick with trading. It's send message after message and no answer then some genius responds 1 hour later after you gave up and moved onto something else "still need?"

I'm on Texas server and in the last week I get little bumps where I can't move at all. No button key does anything, can't move. Then a minute later it's all fixed. I tab out and the net is still working fine everywhere else.

The main subreddit has been degrading for a long time, this league was the death knell.

The pathofexilebuids sub mostly wants to actually play the game and has some interesting builds and discussion, with very little whining and bs posts. It still doesn't have that much traffic, but at least it's about playing the game.

pathofexilebuilds is pretty well moderated overall and the people in the sub are quite helpful. It's a shitshow on the main sub, personally I welcome it as the game's going downhill and lots of the points being talked about are valid.

The numbers are terrible this league, there will nobody playing in 3 weeks if they keep us this bleed rate. Whatever Chris spouts later, it's damage control mode.

I'm guessing that depends on how they view things internally. Do you even need damage control when you basically decided to shutter this live game in favor of the sequel? That's basically what they're doing, even if they wrapped it into nicer pr speak.

I'm not sure where you live in Canada but if you are going to Texas its probably on the eastern side. They added a server option in Toronto to the list a few leagues ago.

PR speak is calling it 2.0 or calling it a sequal when it's just a large patch of the current game.

That is because this game is a *literal* nightmare to try and make your own unique build to play.

- 3rd party program required to see if it functions into maps or you would have to spend 9 or 10 hours to figure out that it just doesn't scale well enough
- More than a hundred skills that are just worse than the ones that the balance the game around
- No satisfying way to obtain the items needed to make niche build works
- No satisfying way to obtain items.....period

So people that do not have hundreds of hours to sink into a league every month are almost required to play what the people that DO have that much time figure out because anything else makes the game feel like a chore and not fun.

If you and our Z tier streamer say "well maybe that means POE isn't for yoU!!!!!!" Then I think that you are right and that GGG is going to see more of their player base lose interest because the above forces out 80%+ of their players.

Yes, but how do they view it from inside GGG/Tencent?

Sequel/POE2 might just as well be the pr version of a decision made in 2018 to effectively shut POE1 down by transitioning to the sequel, but keep revenue going for as long as possible until they have to make the hard cuts necessary for the switch to POE2.

They wouldn't have made the kind of money they did since Exilecon if they had announced a shutdown of POE1 alongside the new POE2 announcement, so that little "combined game" stunt gave them two years of revenue.

I mean if you don't enjoy any way you acquire items, or you know the entirety of gameplay in PoE, I don't think thats a GGG problem and given all of the reactions by players, I doubt you would be reflective of many others.

If you truly believe this then you are retarded. GGG has to rely on yet ANOTHER third party product to allow their player base to sort through the mountains of worthless trash that drop on the ground. Do you think playing this game without a loot filter would be satisfying? Some of us think that Harvest fixed the totally laughable itemization by allowing us to pick up medium items and make them good/great through hours and hours of work that was satisfying because we had an end goal in mind. Add in the removal of the small amount of targeted unique farming that was in place and now you've forced everyone to go trade for items to get the specific things they need. I think we have talked about how unsatisfying trade is in this thread that I will not spend any more time on that.

So again, what part of finding or making items for a specific build is satisfying without 3rd party addons to make it even semi-tolerable? Hell, what part of finding or making items for a specific build is satisfying even WITH a loot filter and the trade site?

Having taken a few leagues off it's super clear how much bloat is in the game. Used to keep up on all the league mechanics as they were patched in. Now trying to sort through several all at once and determine if that part is actually still in game or not. Blah.

Wait, you think filters are a third party product and you are trying to call me retarded? Laughable. Hell, even the trade site isnt a third party anymore.

What part of finding or making items for a specific build is sastifying with a loot filter and trade site? I would imagine playing the game would be that part or else why are you playing it to start with? What enjoyment are you chasing exactly if you claim to not enjoy the game to start with? This is very much a you problem, not a them problem.
