Diablo 3 nerfed the shit out of potions because they think their playerbase is too retarded to handle them. Are you accepting that you are one of those retards?

Honestly, I like the aesthetic more than D3, but for the first several acts everything is intended to look like you dragged it out of the dump. this is probably my favorite game ever, but I would have happily paid a full box price, plus full price for a few expansions to have all the skins be attainable via in game means. That's just because I love unlockables and refuse to pay for skins though. However, I do understand their business model and why they do it this way. It's a minor gripe, and I can't wait to dump another hundred hours into the new league.

I didn't visit this thread before I started playing the game and flasks were hilariously easy. First they were health, then they were mana, then I read the fucking descriptions to find out what the other ones did..... until I got to the point where it didn't take 18 minutes to explain why some help me over others. Not hard.

They get listed on the official trade site and poe.trade the exact same way, through the character API. So if I set one of my tabs to be a selling tab, it will show up on both sites equally, but the official site doesn't list if you're AFK in game or not. Putting on /dnd will drop you from listings until you take it off.

Offical lists afk I believe, and let's you PM via account if they are afaik:

First off, flasks are simple to understand but they also offer a deeper game element once you rech higher level.
They can assist your character and provide choice for gameplay options. You are bitching about a video that is explaining some of the finer details which you can safely ignore until you get closer to endgame.
POE is one of those games that is serious about being easy to learn but difficult to master.
Definitely better than D3 which tries to limit you every chance it gets resulting in few cookie cutter builds in the end game.

There is something like TurboHUD but suposedly people have been banned for using it without any cheat plugins enabled. But POEHud is out there.

I actually don't like GGG's vagueness around addons. For example, I want something to run in the background that monitors a pixel so when I get low health it will sound an audible alarm and I can react manually. They say that's not allowed (I checked, because I certainly dont wanna get my account banned!). However, on the other hand they have said "as long as it doesn't perform more than 1 command in 1 button press or mouse click, it's okay".

So which is it? They really need to be more clear. That, or stop adding difficulty in the form of a convoluted UI and lack of QoL. It's my ONLY complaint ever about PoE has been the abysmal QoL in the game, under the guise of "difficulty". I don't buy ANY of that bullshit. Add shit in the game for audible alarms and stuff. You do it on drops, why not when mana is under X% or health is under X%? I dunno, just seems like theres so much "difficulty" in this game around this kinda thing.

The game is already one of my most favorite games ever and would be 100 times more enjoyable if currency was auto-pick up and didn't take inventory spots up. But no, everyone talks against this because "rabble rabble difficulty". Fuck you. It's got nothing to do with difficulty.

I'd say mobility is a big problem as well.
Every melee skill should have some mobility baked into it. Some people have suggested supports. "Lunge support: you step forward, and then attack with supported skill."
An innate dodge roll. every game has these days.
Actual movement skills reworked. instant windups, longer winddown animations. or just plain faster all around.
