2) Make sure your email seems "personalized". What that means is you specifically comment on things she wrote in her profile
3) Be funny and positive

the trick to the shirtless pics are make sure its in a party/group/social environment. a shirtless bathroom selfie is gonna make you look like a douche. but a "whoa am I accidentally shirtless playing sand volleyball with a group friends?" is a different story

I'm good with it, now that I'm a crusty old married man I live vicariously through you young warriors. I just don't want anyone having a false sense of security. That shit happens. There are a multitude of factors that can compromise the effectiveness of birth control, things they probably don't even know about or you would definitely never know about.

Also, when I say she "forgot", we're just theorizing, it isn't like you'll ever really know. She missed one pill, got pregnant, we blamed that. Does that mean it was the cause? Who knows.

Be careful in the field, bros.

Why be nervous? You've never met these women and if they don't respond you most likely never will. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by messaging.

This. People are pretty fucking stupid when it comes to shit like this. It shouldnt surprise anyone that birth control pills can so easily fail yet in a controlled scientific setting they are just about flawless.

In the real world, things are not controlled, and maybe your gf isn't educated on the risks and takes antibiotics, decreasing the effectiveness of her birth control and suddenly you're in a Vegas chapel getting hitched to the "kinda nerdy, laid back, just like to have fun!" girl from Match.com. And/or going to jail for pushing her down a flight of stairs. Be ever vigilant!
