I dont know if they lost. Anthropology being the glue that connects everything is pants on head retarded in my opinion but focusing on your choice of studies instead of the actual message is even worse.

The issue is really simple, and one you STILL haven't addressed at all: What makes your ethical guidelines apply to researchers in China?

Do you think the cruel and unusual punishment standards we have in the US apply in China? Do you think the abortion laws and ethics we have in the US apply in China? What makes you think research ethics apply in China? Why don't the Chinese get to make up their own fucking minds about what they're going to do?
