It's getting tiring.Wait, everything goes to shit at the end?
Erlich has 10% for sure and I think the others are low single-digits. I think when then female coder was fucking with them she mentions how much she gets and it's a higher number than Dinesh and Gilfyole and they get pissed. I'm assuming 5% ish each. There are ~5 of them and I think Richard wants to own at least 51% of the company if he can. So him + Erlich is 60+% with Jared, Dinesh, Gilfyole, and funders making up the other ~40%.I love this show, but them getting nearly fucked all the time makes me hate the end of every episode. Build up... ends in shitty disappointment just to happen again next week.
They need to stop with that trope next season. Seriously.
But for the more important nerd rant. We never know how much the gang owns in the company. Erlich has 10%, Dinesh ??, Gilfoyle ??, Russ had 10%? and Raviga 10%? Am I wrongly under the impression that someone with majority ownership can't control his company because of board seat agreements which apparently supersede actual ownership?
Russ's term sheet gave him 2 votes, they were in a shitty situation and agreed to it. Raviga bought out Russ's stake in the company, getting his 2 votes and they already had 1 vote. Not all shares in a company are always voting shares, so it would appear they control more than 51% of voting shares.I love this show, but them getting nearly fucked all the time makes me hate the end of every episode. Build up... ends in shitty disappointment just to happen again next week.

IIRC from what they've said in show:Erlich has 10% for sure and I think the others are low single-digits. I'm sure he will need a lawyer to fight Raviga for control of his company. The guy playing the ex lawyer kills it everytime, he needs to stick around somehow
I was wondering the same thing - even if she voted with Richard and they canned her, she's still have a seat on the board. Why would Monica vote against Richard? I assume they threatened her job or something.
