Since this is now about Anno 2070, I started the campaign and have only played a little way through it so far, but my main question is, did it explain somewhere what sort of things I want to look out for as far as placing houses and other junk? Or did I just miss it? What I mean is, you start on that single island, and it immediately says you need more houses, so plop that shit down yo. Thinking this is just a basic tutorial-type level, I plop those fuckers down sort of haphazardly, with roads all over the place. The next mission my shitty housing is all still in place, and the next, etc. so it seems I'll be keeping this crap setup for awhile. But I never saw anywhere that it gave suggestions about what to put where, or if putting a mine next to a smelter (probably getting names all fucked up) helps or hinders, or if having houses blocking off terrain (like ore deposits for example) is a bad idea, or if the fucking trees on the island will ever matter or are decoration...etc.
I haven't played further than like the 3rd or 4th mission and I had just assumed that would all be explained in due time, but if what Rezz is saying is true and Chapter 2 will keep my same setup, I'm probably fucked and I don't really want to play all those missions again just to configure shit properly. So did I miss something that explained all that to me, or at least gave me some hints?
