NFC has a range of 1-2" depending on the inlay type. While it's possible to use something like a URL redirect via NFC, they also have very little storage (8k MAX, most are 142 bytes of data (NTAG203/Samsung TechTile)) and inserting a payload that would allow remote control in that small of a package seems unlikely.

Like I said didn't root it, have no clue how it happened I figure some interference in 4G LTE signal or some type of vulnerability that allowed my Bluetooth to be activated , hasn't happened since then though.

You can set certain contacts to not use iMessage, even if they have an iPhone. Had to do this a few times when someone went from iPhone to Android, and it was all messed up because it kept trying to iMessage them.

So I noticed that the storage on my phone was nearly full, and wasn't sure why. I take a look at what is using up all the storage and can't find out what it is.
How can I be using that much storage in misc. files, but not be able to find it or delete it?

IMessage and group Messaging has been a nightmare for me since moving to my G2S. If someone sends a group message it doesn't come over as a group and each person that responds goes to their individual text. I fixed it by downloading Textra, but I've noticed that it'll randomly stop all MMS from coming over. I have to do a reinstall at that point to force them to come down.

Yes, it is the S4. I assumed that all the pre-installed shit would show up under apps. However, now that I think about it I suppose that my not be the case.

Do some googling on the subject. I swear I remember people complaining about the S4 when it first came out with half the memory being used up by their programs. I thought they fixed that. Try calling verizon also. My S4 only has like 323 megs of storage in misc.

My stock S4 automatically downloaded PDFs, txt docs and other document files from Dropbox in that 'misc files' category. Found out the hard way by deleting it through the manager. Then suddenly missing files in Dropbox. Solution is to unregistered Dropbox on phone. The delete the shit, then install newest version of Dropbox that does not cache files for no reason other than fucking with ya.
