If I remember right, I think my S4 came with ~2 gig of the internal memory used up when I first got it. It was definitely nowhere near the 6GB that you're showing. Has to be something else chewing that up, but just not reporting it's usage correctly. Possibly browser cache or some sort of streaming media app cache, something odd like that.

My S4 out of the box had something like 14.1GB free of the 16GB built-in.

I downloaded Textra and almost instantly it started have MMS errors and I'd 'tap to retry download' and they'd just disappear. Fuck that noise. I'm just using Hangouts and downloading each text like a little bitch. Better than missing them.

Weird, I just installed Textra and it has been working like a charm. I've learned to hate Hangouts. Loading contacts while typing in their names takes forever while with Textra it is instant. Having notifications displayed is great too.

Yea most of the time it works fine. Then randomly it will stop working and I've never figured out a fix other than reinstall. I've tried to adjust all settings that deal with mms, but nothing seems to resolve it.

Is Craigslist the best place to sell a used phone these days? I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 in pristine condition that I've been using since November 2012 that I need to sell. No chips/cracks/nothing - perfect condition. I want to upgrade but I know can I get a pretty decent chunk of money for it.

craigslist or ebay, yes.

eBay is interesting... I sold my 16GB iPhone 4 a couple months ago. I had 3 winning bids in the $100-$120 range and none of the people ended up paying. Finally I put it up for a "Buy it now" price of $120 and it sold in 15 minutes.

I tend to prefer craigslist due to not having to deal with shipping, but dang if Craigslist ain't full of cheap bitches! lol

It's already discounted being on CL, and then people want it for next to nothing. Low balling a-holes!! hahaha

Another ding on eBay is the 10% fee off the selling price. Kinda annoying to sell something for $300 and then get hit with a $30 fee at the end of the month.

USPS flat rate boxes make shipping something like this pretty painless.

Good point. I wouldn't put up with that crap. I'd just list it as accurately as possible and tell people I will not budge on price. Take it or leave it.

The problem with Craigslist is you are only selling to idiots, because you have to be stupid to buy a phone on craigslist with no buyer protection in the case that it's stolen that will get bricked in a couple of days.

Totally underwhelmed. I'll happily stick with my S4 until I see how the S6 looks. And FUCK Samsung for getting hooked on this physical home button. I love my S4, but the S2 (Epic 4G Touch) is the best looking Galaxy they've made. Single piece of glass with capacitive buttons is sex, or just use the soft buttons within the LCD that Google came up with forever ago.

I do like the S5 being water resistant(up to 1m for 30 minutes) by default. No having to wait for a special version of it for that.

Huh, what? How does an OS promote water resistance?

I think the iSheep devices have been for a gen or two now, but saying it as the OS is just frickin' weird even if I am getting what you mean...
