well at least Abrams cant use Revenge in the title again. though no doubt some lost Sith Lord will now be looking to revenge luke for killing the emperor. abrams loves him some revenge plots.

That is the preview I wanted to see. If indeed this movie is modeled around "Wrath of Khan", then it needs to have what I consider was the very best part of that movie. It needs to have the intense ship to ship combat. With the scene revolving around the enterprise crashing I figured something to that effect existed, but this preview confirmed it. I will be watching this movie.

Yeah, that should have been the first preview. Exponentially better, and I can't wait to see this. Hell, I'm not even a trekkie and it looks great.

I can't watch that last trailer while in public. I would be poking everyone's eye out with my massive boner. Based on the trailer, this could be the best Trek movie evar.

1st movie had a big black *gasp* mining vessel in it from an alternate future Universe, dont be surprised ladies and gents if they now will encounter a big black waste disposal ship, this time..

Trailer looks good though, will definately see it.

Yeah I mean I don't know exactly where the bad guy ship is from, but if you pause the trailer at 1:17, it doesn't just kinda look like a federation ship, it looks almost exactly like a much larger Enterprise. The nacelles are proportionally larger and blockier, and the saucer section seems larger too. The ship has a very new and unrefined look to it compared to how streamlined federation vessels normally look.

My money is on it being either some kind of new prototype that the bad guy stole from where it was being constructed, or they stole blueprints and tech and built it in secret or something. While they may have already done time travel, that was just as a way to reboot the universe. I highly doubt they bring one of the 'evil dimension' plots to the big screen.

This is exactly what I thought. I think it's some sort of alt-dimension Enterprise, or, like Gavinrad says, they stole some new prototype. Harrison is supposedly former federation, right? Maybe he had command and just went rogue with it.

Well the Enterprise is supposed to be the biggest ship in the fleet... and this ship is clearly a lot bigger. Im guessing either Mirror Universe or Time Travel.
