Nute Gunray wasn't *the* villain in any of the prequels, and he was pretty much a joke during his Clone Wars appearances too. He was just a tool being manipulated by Palpatine. Calling him a villain is like calling Admiral Piett a villain.

He said "a villian". Not the primary antagonist in any of the movies. Gunray was the face of the Separatists until Dooku made the scene. It's not as if I said the rancor handler from RoTJ or some shit. Krennic was overshadowed by Tarkin in spite of having more screen time.

And yes, Gunray was a joke of a character. Kinda the point.

Gotta go with Sparkle over here about the choreography. The Qui Gon, Obi Wan & Darth Maul fight is a bit overwrought, but if you don't think it's as close to iconic as prequel light saber duels get, then Wakandan u is high.

I agree.

That's probably the best light saber battle put to film to date. The music and the action worked together to create the pinnacle of light saber combat that we have seen.

But if you want to cheat and add in the animation series, Ahsoka and Vader in S2 of Rebels is pretty high up there to.

The Anakin/Obi-Wan fight in Ep 3, flaws and all, is by far the best saber duel of the prequels.

If animation is allowed then I'm sure half the cut-scenes in TOR are better than anything from the prequels.

Also it's not like that high ground stupidity was that much worse than Maul just standing there watching as Obi-Wan sloooooowly flipped over him and then cut him in half. I mean the fight was over, Maul had the high ground.

Gavin is clearly trolling. That "duel" in EP3 was less exciting than watching two spergs have a sword fight with hotwheels race tracks. The reason no one mentions it is the whole "high ground" moment is so ludicrous it makes you forget the long boring gymnastics meet that happened before it.

The Emperor vs Yoda fight is the only battle in the prequels even remotely worth watching.
