My thinking is that if daisy riddley thought it was glaringly obvious, it means first impressions are probably right, even if there are flaws with them.

Just wearing it. Neither her nor her mother (who gave it to her) were force sensitive though her mother seemed to have some slight affinity to nature which some people think indicates she had a sort of force awareness similar to Chirrut.

The Empire plundered the jedi temples all over the galaxy for crystals. That's where some of the large ones came from. They also strip mined Ilum (where young jedi went as a rite of passage to find the crystals for their lightsabers) to it's core extracting crystals.

On day one, we were in Lucasfilm in San Francisco with Industrial Light and Magic and John Knowles, our supervisor, he said that they’ve got a brand new 4K restoration print of A New Hope – it had literally just been finished. He suggested we sit and watch it. Obviously, I was up for that. Me, the writer, lots of the story people and John all sat down, we all had our little notepads, we were all ready for this. I’ll add that I’ve seen A New Hope hundreds of times. So I was sat there, ready to take notes and really delve under the surface of the film. You have the Fox fanfare, then scrolling text with ‘A long time ago…’, and then the main music begins. Next thing we knew it had ended, and we looked around to one another and just thought – shit, we didn’t take any notes. You can’t watch it without getting carried away. It’s really hard to get into an analytical filmmaker headspace with this film. It just turns you into a child.

Just saw it. Good movie, not great. Not as good as Force Awakens which I thought was very good, better than any of the prequels.
Best part of the movie was the Vader scene. Which was very good but only because of nostalgia and it was an action scene. The only real emotion I had for the characters was Jyn and her father. Only because I'm a dad now and stuff like that always gets me.
Alan Tudyk was good as K-250. Blind Jedi-ish Monk was fine and his buddy, but they sort of blew it at the end for the characters imo.
I was happy there was no in your face SJW nonsense. I also appreciated the nods they gave to fans.

i actually find this very depressing, i was just watching The Burbs the other day and thinking about Rick Ducomon was cool as fuck and died too young. now i might say the same about another cast member. for a time carrie fisher was a cutie. then the 90s happened.

Maybe someone with more medical knowledge can correct me, but I think as long as you continue to do CPR, you can buy a lot of time despite the person not breathing on their own.
