So looking back at this trilogy:
First was an ok start...the Han thing felt REALLY rushed, but definitely not unrecoverable and the film did not leave things in a state of no return
Second movie was BAD, BAD, BAD and did tremendous damage to the IP.
Third tried, but showed it couldn't/wouldn't fix the misteps of the second.
Rey, Finn and Rose are some of the poorest written characters in modern times. Rogue One showed us what a post SW film should be...
p.s. Solo wasn't TERRIBLE, but when compared to this trilogy it was practically Citizen Kane.

This and Mandalorian are the only reasons I haven't just said fuck this franchise.

It's almost like Nostalgia + China=Box Office. That plus one great scene with Darth Vader is the whole movie. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like that they brought back the original Rebel fleet, it's got some good scenes but it isn't a good movie at all. It's tied for 3rd best of the KK movies when there is no 1st or 2nd, though, if for only the reasons stated above.

As time goes by and even worse garbage comes out, people are forgetting that Rogue One was pretty terrible too, just not Last Jedi terrible.

I keep hearing this about Mandalorian. I don't get it. I've only watched first four episodes, the shit is dull. Does it a really get exciting? Does he do cool shit? If all the baby Yoda memes are accurate I'd assume the answer is no, but would love to be told otherwise.

Well the 4th episode is by far the worst, it picks up decently well after that one. TBH the series is mostly just 'ok' but as I've said before, the main appeal is that Favreau knows how to make something actually feel like Star Wars and doesn't express the open contempt for the fandom that the creators of the new movies do.

Rogue One had some pretty good moments and of course everyone is all about the Vader thing at the end, but it's just not a well put together movie and all the characters aren't just disposable, they're totally uninteresting in basically any way. Being better than TLJ is quite the hurdle.
