that whole, "old star wars fans need to move on or just die already!" schtick is complete bullshit. because this show is still using the same old story beats and characters from the "Skywalker Saga" . none of this is new or original. and it really cant be because then it wouldnt be Star Wars. its always going to be this Sith vs Jedi or Force user vs other Force user and light sabers get swung around.
i'm just going to say it. this scene completely ruined lightsabers for me.
if little retards got each their own lightsabers to play with, then the novety of wielding one becomes worthless.

Honestly, if you wanted to really tank this show, it seems like you could really lean into the whole thing and call it out for only using "women" and lesbians, and that it's 2024 and that's very narrow minded when there are 900 genders and just as many sexualities. That they're so non-inclusive to only include women with vaginas and only ones who like other women with vaginas is extremely problematic.
