Imagine if the "family plan" farce was released before they announced the DRM cut. There'd have been a hilarious uproar of "We're getting fucked in the ass for THAT?"Wait, the family sharing plan was a glorified demo platform? Hahahaha. That's hilarious. I'm actually quite disappointed Microsoft scrapped it now - I would have loved to see the Xbox execs squirm while being questioned about it.
Yeah, after seeing the limits of the plan I don't even get why they scraped it. If anything people might share a digital game and then their buddy ends up buying it because he got sucked in after an hour of playing.Imagine if the "family plan" farce was released before they announced the DRM cut. What happened when the PS3 got rid of the Linux?Nah... you can't sell a machine based on a set of requirements and then suddenly totally change these requirements after selling a bunch of them. It would lead to a class action.
Want to bet that on the box it comes in, there will be a label saying something about "conditions may change", "requirements may change" and so on? That is more or less standard practice these days.Nah... you can't sell a machine based on a set of requirements and then suddenly totally change these requirements after selling a bunch of them. Not much? The normal class action grumble (that never happens), the normal promises of never buying anything from Sony ever again due to this monumental, epic betrayal of its customers (ooooh PS4! Rock on!), and then....nothing.What happened when the PS3 got rid of the Linux?
Not really, lets say all your "year one" games will work just fine, but games released from May 2014 need the 24h validation due to "publisher demands *cough cough*" I doubt you would have a case against it. "We said it could change! You can still use the old games! Not our fault!"That's different and you know it.
