I've only seen the first season. Did it really take until S5 for the Teenage Kix to show up? I see they kept Dogknot but renamed Popclaw to Talon (who was a cutter).

This show is so fucking repetitive. The actors do pretty well with what they're given, particularly Homelander playing an exceptional asshole, but the plot goes fucking nowhere.

Popclaw is already in the show as Popclaw, not talon.
No hamster that I can recall.

A-Train mentioned he knew Sage from a teen team, maybe it was this one.

Maybe because the writer is a deranged libtard whose priority isn't advancing the plot. The story doesn't matter. She's just stuffing as much rw hate and ridicule as possible in 90% of the episode, while 10% is for a boring emotional subplot

there is no Teenage Kix that I can recall. At least that actual name never comes up, but Popclaw may have mentioned she was in a "team" previously, or something, in season 2 1.

Mesmer had a Teenage Kix shirt on and was directly asked if he was on the team with A-Train back in S1E6, so small references before S4

S4E1 A-Train says Sage was with him in Teenage Kix for a year while reviewing the candidates
S4E3 While the agenda is being discussed they mention Ryan has received an offer from Teenage Kix

His face certainly changed, dunno if due to a health problem or going to Starlight's shitty plastic surgeon (who should lose his/her license).

Starlight is hard to watch, her face doesn't even move right, at least MM still looks 100% human. Kimiko actually looks better in this season, for some reason. Maybe it's by comparison.
