Told you nerds something was crawling around inside Butcher.

I do wonder if there's anything to the breast milk thing. The scene felt ominous, like whatever's going on with her might somehow end up endangering Homelander through the milk.

Pretty shit season, finale was mid-okish. I look forward to seeing how much more of a ghoul the Starlight actress is. Who knows maybe even Kimiko will have fucked herself up too! Endless possibilities.

I literally said 'we had to watch Frenchie be a fag for no reason' out loud at the end of this episode. What was the point? As if the show needed more man ass.

the point? It’s a high viewership show so a great outlet to promote and normalize degenerate behavior. Propaganda via popular media, as old as time

Well I don't normally have yellow fever but the woman playing Kimiko is a smoke show.

This show should have been five 3-hour movies once per year.

If you cut out all the dumb bullshit it would make for five great movies.

It is kind of an interesting coincidence. We might get both Stranger Things season 5 and The Boys season 5 in the same year. They both will deal with apocalyptic scenarios and will both have show finales.

And they were both good for 2, maybe 2.5 seasons.

Stranger Things had a much better season 4 than The Boys. That said, at least it picked up right at the end of season 4 for The Boys.

And just imagine the level of non-veiled ham fisted-ness we'll get in next season if Trump wins in November....

Maybe - it seemed more to me that they were frustrated that people watching the show didn't realize that they were being insulted, so they have become increasingly heavy-handed to the point that even people who might have laughed or agreed with them are left rolling their eyes at how low-effort and stupid it is.

That they've gone from satire that was subtle enough that people raged about the thing it was making fun of, all the way to characters literally shouting "Critical Supe Theory" is a sad fall.

Ham-fisted brain-dead political arguments aside, the season was sort-of ok. At least they progressed plot to some extent with the ending and it had a few fun moments.

They'll finish writing it before November. They have enough material with the RNC and Project 2025 to attack the right.

The message was clear since season 2 where they parodied Alex Jones and gave Stormfront those white genocide lines. Then they made it even more obvious in s3 where there were already articles similar to those in 2024 trying to justify the negative reviews. No, the outrage is because they abandoned the main story for 90% of the time of 7 episodes out of 8 to make way for their political attacks and sexual fetishes.

I'm going to spoil the finale for the show. Butcher will spike Homelander's milk with the virus but he'll put up a fight as he gradually starts weakening and before he actually dies they will taunt him in his powerless state with every Disney cliche imaginable.

So we are going for GoT season 8 level of stupidity.

First half of the episode felt as meh as the rest of the season and then it picks up noticably with Sage's reappearance. I do like the Sage character. Glad they brought in the Gen V crew. It made so going through that show worth something.

Hollander sitting there in tears when his plan falls to shit just proves everything Soldier Boy said to him is true. Worthless and weak.

the funniest thing about the finale is that the writers once again demonstrating they have no knowledge of how the political system works

Neumann died at the end of jan 6th after the vote is certified that Singer and Neumann are the next President and VP. That doesn't take effect until Jan 20th though, whoever is currently President (a republican, since Singer was running as a democrat) would stay President until then, so invoking the 25th against them literally would make no sense.

We saw Singer in a different bunker and the speaker deliberately invoked the 25th amendment so it happened after Jan 20th. That doesn't even make any sense though, the only people who can invoke the 25th are the Presidents cabinet. Did he propose a new cabinet and have them all ok'd by Congress (which takes weeks)? The speaker can start impeachment proceedings based on the video of him wanting to have Neumann killed but again that would take weeks and months, not days.

You can't "arrest" a President like that, he is literally the head of the executive branch (all federal agents and courts) and immune to anything other than impeachment and conviction while President. The recent SCOTUS rulings just made him immune after office, but the President has always been above the law while in office (except through impeachment).

None of it makes any sense the way it was shown on the show.

You're the 1 viewer /10000000 who will complain about this. Jessica Chou is hired to insert the Make America Super Again lines in the show and serve the majority of fans the goyslop they desire.
