Fuck, I'm still hoping we get rice to replace murray if the AP dreams don't pan out. Has anyone picked him up yet? He kinda fell off my radar about halfway through the season.

PFT Live: Philip Rivers out, Marcus Mariota in for Chargers?

Posted by NBCSports.com on March 18, 2015, 2:00 PM EDT
Philip Rivers won't sign a new contract before his current one expires with San Diego and Mike Florio connects the dots speculating a deal can be worked out with Tennessee for the No. 2 overall selection.

Yeah I heard that today. I think Rivers is waiting to see what happens with the stadium and possible relocation of the Chargers. Sounds like his family and him are rooted.

Philip Rivers wants the Chargers in San Diego - Bolts From The Blue

What we've established (in San Diego) with my growing family is hard to re-create. It's hard to up and re-create that. I know that moves are part of life. But that certainty is fair to say that (not being sold on moving to Los Angeles) is part of it. The good thing is I'm not under contract in a year where we'd potentially be in Los Angeles." - Philip Rivers 3/17/15.

Can't get too excited about the Hardy pick up till they rule on if he can play, but damn what a good pick up for the boys.

Hardy is probably getting a 6 game suspension.

My inner homer says Chargers take their division this year as long as they make Rivers happy.

How is the NFL legally entitled to evidence from a dismissed case? So they can punish one of their possessions to a lower standard of evidence than criminal courts require? Fuck the NFL, this is about as bad as the preponderance of evidence standard for college rape 'trials'.

I imagine Cad would have an answer. is it possible it should be a matter of public record? I really have no idea.

Hahaha, what the fuck. 75% sure a drunk Pat McAfee texted this to Irsay and Irsay was like "FUCK YEAH!" Wouldn't teams with decent kickers just fucking go for two every time b/c of odds?
I love this comment on that page:

I seriously thought they were going to put a basket behind the goal line and have somebody launch a 3.

Because Goodell fucked up the Rice situation so badly last year that now he feels like he has to overcompensate.
