I'm V10 since last thursday and I think I've experienced the game as anyone would have. I've did all the quests from lvl1 to VR9, I only grinded last 25% of my V9 -> 10 (no more quests) and I've said I liked leveling experience and questing. I did some dungeons, crafted some legendary gear and I'm enjoying the game right now (besides obvious flaws and no Eu server) and even since RvR needs people to live and end of free month is in 5 days which probably mean PvP will die within weeks, to me it's money (and vacation days) well spent.
Any TESO players with ATT Uverse and a 2Wire residential gateway able to successfully download all 20+GB of the TESO download without getting a lot of Webget request failures?

Noob question here: Do any of you sorcs have suggestions on leveling builds? I just finished Auridon and hit level 16 with zero issues. However, Grahtwood mobs are coming in packs of 3-5 that I simply cannot handle. My current loadout uses a destro staff with my action set being Velocious Curse, Endless Fury, Crystal Fragments, Unstable Clannfear and Inner Light. I have all the passives I can for dark magic and storm calling, as well as light armor and the Altmer racials. Still sitting on 8ish points that I have been saving for a secondary weapon.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what sorc has going for AoE builds but that is what I would recommend. It is what I did for my DK, and makes packs a breeze.

That spec should be good for leveling and is close to what I used. I didn't come into my own with AE until I got pulsar and eventually used: impulse + inner light + critical surge to AE mobs down. Not sure what a good AE spec is at level 16.
I'd also recommend trying to be 1-2 levels higher than the quest you're doing, if you get behind spend a little time in each area grinding.

They went from "after launch" to "during 2014 and after". I don't know if it's a bad choice of words or not, but not having an ETA 1 month after launch isn't a good sign at all. They also don't speak about critical stuff needing urgent patching like AoE unkillable vampires in PvP and weapon swap taking ages to activate.

Yeah when they put the EU migration in with stuff like "A justice system-steal from and kill NPCs and deal with the consequences if you are caught" You know that EU migration isn't happening.

If they'd stop mentioning it, there would be a huge PR shitstorm about them not keeping up to their promises. I don't know if it's just a bad choice of words or they mean to "delay" Eu server installation forever but right now I know a lot of the V1+ / PvP Europe crowd will NEVER sub for such an unresponsive gaming experience. Weapon swap is just not an option in combat, there is rubberbanding, skills not activating / working, characters freezing, etc. Right now for us europeans PvP is most of the time terrible with awful performance because we're a bunch of Eu people playing on a US server. They went sneaky enough by announcing no Eu located server for launch fifteen days before early access, now they're just not giving any ETA whatsoever. That says a lot about their honesty regarding customers.
They're running a Reddit's AMA tonight and they have a lot of stuff to answer to, like why the hell didn't they hotfix vamp ultimate cost, why would they cap all AoEs when a 3k people poll on official forums shows 90% of people don't want that, why no ETA on Eu server, why no more nameplates, why the hell does weapon swap have a delay and isn't instant, etc. They brag about their "vision" and are fast on response, well right now they seem blind as hell and slow as fuck. Also, nerf Batswarm please, it kills the PvP.

The PR has been pretty bad for this game. They should have clarified and it hopefully is just another PR fuck up. I just can't see this not being a priority, then again who would have thought a MMO wouldn't have nameplates. Remember the whole fiasco on adventure zones just because they for some reason couldn't say "Raid" or "Boss" once in the release?

About Batswarm Electric Boogaloo, I don't know if either their Community Management is incompetent, development team know about Batswarm and they don't give a flying fuck, or both. Right now it's just plain horrible, every night you meet more and more Infinite Batswarm enemies, decimating whole raids by standing there spamming their thing. I'd say right now it should be their #1 priority since changing some skill cost value shouldn't be a big of a deal.
