list some? for future reference
the Boca "ground crumbles" (ground beef substitute) is great if you cook it in olive oil on medium heat. can't crank the heat of your frying pan with those, or it gets charred too easy.
the Morningstar facon (fake bacon) is pretty good, even microwaved. the texture is different than real bacon, but the flavor is top notch. any time i cook the stuff and someone comes over the smell makes them think i'm cooking real bacon.
Morningstar Garden Veggie patties are pretty good and versatile. 2 servings of veggies and 2 servings of protein per patty. needs to be paired with the right thing tho
Morningstar Grillers Prime or Boca Cheese"burger" are the best fake burger patties.
Smart... um... i forget the brand name. Smart something. makes some really dank fake Italian Sausage links. awesome in pasta.
there are no good vegetarian hot dog substitutes, don't even bother.
oh, and Seitan isn't quite the same category since its not super processed like all that^ shit, but it is also really good if you cook with it right. can get it to taste and feel just like carne asada if you're good. i'm not that good with it yet, but i have some friends that have done some amazing things with the stuff.
(Seitan is an asian product that kinda fills the same niche as tofu, but its made out of wheat gluten instead of soybeans)
