On a keto diet KFC grilled was damn awesome because of no carbs. Great for those days you didn't want to cook!

I go extra crispy every time. I eat KFC maybe once every 3-4 years though.
I used to as well and for most people really no harm in it.
I think after this last experience though I'll just buy chickens from Sams/Meijers/Krogers. Those rotisserie chickens 4/5lb for $5-6 are every bit as good as what I got the last 2 times at KFC and for 20-25 lbs cooked, hot and ready to eat you get 5x more too.
Even the sides at KFC have been sorta shit.
Seems it's that way everyplace for me now.
Mc'Ds I can taste the salt in the meat even though lower than most other fast foods. Slightly rubbery.
Burger King, dry, super dry shit last few times and nothing crisp at all.
Pizza Hut, ever since the switch to hipster pizza 2 or so years ago total shit for me. Plus they removed the only good flavor wing I liked.
Wendy's still ok but last few times I had that the fries were soggy shit.

Still like Papa Johns ok enough. Haven't been to Hardee's in a few years but we have 5 of them I think.
I don't get to eat the shit much anymore but it sure seems like none of them are what they used to be, when it was feel good tasty food.

Getting grilled chicken at KFC is like ordering spaghetti at a Chinese restaurant. You're in the wrong damn restaurant and even if they give you want you wanted, it's not going to be good.

Just go to Publix if you live in a state with them, they have excellent fried chicken and tenders.

I did love me a KFC Doubledown though

Same with safeway, really not too bad if it's fresh. Plus you can get Joe's which are Ta die for!

Ya we have 2 of them and one location cooks a ton in the morning and lets it sit all damn day sold or not. Usually you get dried up chicken jerky. The other well I already explained. I feel KFC will do away with it though at this rate.

Man we loved Publix when we lived down in Hendersonville TN. Salmon pinwheels were the best. Here in KY though Kroger/Meijer chicken fried is like eating 3 week old roadkill. The baked chicken is ok though.

Hardee's new spicy tenders are fucking ridiculous.

Note: pictures when I get home

Edit: Now that I've recovered more: I question if the folks messed up the recipe. There was so much seasoning it was like the one in 50 super chips, it was practically fuzzy.

Coworker (original owner) couldn't get past two. I stopped with about a nugget size left. Drank an entire large drink (32oz?). Then took another bite. Refilled it. Drank half. Another bite. Then gave up.

Taco Bell Is Pulling Their Naked Chicken Chalupa From The Menu | JJ Ryan | 92.5 The Bull

Fuuuuu

Welp I knew this was coming just didn't figure it would be this soon. I have a feeling the margins just aren't as good and with their overestimated popularity it fucks up their rhythm putting other shit together. Probably just constantly frying those fuckers up all day long. Damnit.

Hope they make it like the mcrib and bring it back every once in while. Praying.

I heard two of the employees bitching at the drive thru about them. It's a time issue when it comes to making them. It's the same thing with those rolled tacos. Since they are all fried to order. It slows down their drive thru times.

I worked in a Publix Deli in FL back in high school. To this day, they were the best damn sandwiches I have ever had. Plus, working there we rang up normal cuts of meat but loaded it with all the premium stuff like Black Forest Ham, etc. Then we had the massive cheese selection too.. Amazing sandwiches. No one ever went to Subway in a town with a Publix back then.. and Subway was half decent back in the 90s.

Ya it was that way still in 2008-2010 when I was near them in TN. Sometimes I would stop in on the way home as the place we lived( I built for someone else and moved into it for a few years ) was 8 miles from any store and they had sandwiches made that day marked down to $1-2 and these were massive hoagies with like a pound+ of meat/cheese on them. I had some bad experiences with Publix too though mostly involving coupons and credit cards but the foods were top notch.
To date I've never seen someone else make a carrot cake with a literal icing carrot on top. Those were damn good too!

Pub Subs are always the best darn sub in town - Publix has the best whatever it is they have, its better - their cakes are top notch, they make better wedding cakes than boutiques, deli is top notch, there generics are better or = to name brand on 90% of the items etc.

Didn't they pull the double stacks too? Two new popular products pulled soon after their release?! WTF Taco Bell...

Yeah, I have two Publix within walking distance of my house. They are the best.

noo I had one of those chicken things and it was actually good! and their double stack taco thing is always good - I don't know why its not a constant on the menu- its not like they don't have the items to make it all the time.

That's a bold statement about Publix. My skepticism is at Michael Jordan levels.

Had Burger King Onion Rings last night for the first time in years... Instant regret the next day... My stomach and bowels are rumbling nonstop. The smell coming from my farts could put down an elephant. I'm struggling to get through meetings without having the sounds of orchestras and/or heavy-metal rock coming out my ass...

Oh, what have I done?!?!?

If Burger King doesn't do something about their food quality soon, they won't be in business in 5 years. Their food has crossed the line of just bad, into god-awful.

I think their business has picked up as of late because of their 4 for $4 or 5 for $5 deal, whichever it is. I think fast food has learned that if people really want something nicer they'll go to a nicer restaurant so they went back to quantity/cost effectiveness over quality.
