Electric Skill Power Boost Ratio = 81.2% from Electric Specialist + 20% from Electric Reactor + 7.1% from reactor random stat. Then there's another 20% for singular skills, also from the reactor. So my effective skill power on Bunny's 3 is: 16414.46 * 2.283 = 37474.21.

Then you take that number and look at the skill itself.

A bit more complicated than most skills but assuming you wait to activate it at 100% and then quickly build it back up to 100% by running, the actual damage should end up being:

37474.21 * (1.733 + 1.5) = 121154.12

I see more like 90-110k in game, but that's likely due to resists and/or not being at 100% electricity right after activating the skill.

The worst is kuiper. Shit is damn near invisible on the ground most of the time.

Why is the higher level and tier item give me LESS skill power when equipped?

Also, with reactors, does anyone have a guide? Like what is the Missed: Skill power, and why is it greyed out?

Rare (purple) reactors have 100% of the stated stats. If you EQUIP the weapon archetype that is specified (Hand Gun, Submachine, Machine Gun ... blah blah) You get 40% bonus skill power.

Ultimate (yellow) reactors have 100% of the stated stats. If you MOUNT (have the weapon in hand) the Ultimate weapon specified (Thundercage, Greg's Reversed Fate, Fallen Hope ... blah blah) You get 60% bonus skill power.

Secondary stats on reactors can make a pretty big difference to their overall stats as well, which can roll things like Cooldown reduction, crit/damage or skill power type specific boosts like Toxic or Tech.

Spent some time in the training room testing out the various +dmg mods, and they do indeed work. Now it's a matter of which mods will give the most for the least.

Sadly, I have to farm Dead Bride (hard) for the Lepic grenade mod. Joy.

So when you're farming kuiper in the ambush point mission, don't be a dumbass like me and let your mods cap out... I had to head back to Albion to dismantle like 650 duplicates, and when I left the mission area there was 4 ultimate mods sitting on the ground. No way to destroy a mod in the field to reduce capacity so they were lost forever. That place can drop Mid-Air Maneuvering which makes it especially annoying.

As far as kuiper goes I think for this week at least Water-cooling Recording Device is actually the best, since that's also where sensors drop in the current hard mode loot rotation. Start the mission, activate the first spot, then farm mobs until the timer runs out. No having to run to reset the mission every 30 seconds which is just obnoxious if you don't have a group with someone dedicated just to doing that.

You can farm up pretty good Ult weapons to stack their Ability: thunder cage, fallen hope, and the ultimate trolling weapon- Greg's reversal. I have a t5 thunder cage and will work on the other two soon. I hope they make a skin for Tamer, as that weapon looks so dumb.

Have unlocked like 7 descendents now, 70+ hours, MR 15, Battle Pass almost 50. Enzo, Sharen useful, Valby/Bunny mobbing meta, Gley boss meta. Everyone else seems mostly superfluous.

I will say they nailed how each character feels, each with an identity and kit that is fun. Valby in particular is amazing to control and play with. I enjoy the power fantasy much MUCH better here than in say Destiny 2, where the classes feel quite vanilla and uninspired.

Not lvl50 BP yet? I bought the Premium track, and while running the Fortress zone I was at lvl47. Once I finished Fortress and Story related stuff I got this big explosion of BP lvls that took me to 61. Dunno why that happened, but I'll take it. Now if only I could get 50 of those coins to by that Mask for Lepic.

Look at the optimization condition and skill power boost ratios. On the purple reactor you have a launcher equipped, so you get that bonus, plus the non attribute skill bonus because you have those type of skills. The multipliers push the lower stats of the lower level reactor to be better than the base stats of the other reactor.

FYI, the optimization condition bonus only applies while you are actively using the weapon that meets the criteria.

think I may have fucked up, picked Ajax for my first dude.

now i'm casual af but still like level 27 running around in the 2nd zone, and theres some quests I can't do, namely timed quests.

I got Bunny and leveled her up to around 25 also and she's great for the trash clearing quests but she sucks on bosses.

i'm entirely sure its a combination of a) me being terrible and b) not knowing what i'm doing especially when it comes to gear etc, but i'm kinda at an impasse. There's a quest with a 1 minute timer called Vulgus Strategic outpost which is needed for some weapon quest, but I can't complete it on either dude. Ajax doesn't kill fast enough and I always end up running out of ammo, and while bunny can clear the trash quick she can't down the boss fast enough.

other than getgud, what do?

edit: NM they must have nerfed this quest because i just walked in and cakewalked it on Ajax in 20seconds despite not having changed any gear/weapons/levels/etc. Haven't even played in like 3 days and i was getting my shit pushed in repeatedly last time i tried

Technically those are all additive (not multiplicative) increases to the base skill power of his character, but only if the descendant actually uses those elements/types. Since he's playing Ajax, the first thing to note is that those are both useless. Ajax does non-attrib damage which rules out the toxic reactor entirely, and for the sub-type he really wants tech because the dimension skills don't actually use skill power in their calculations. So step one is to go farm up a Materialized Mechanics Reactor from one of the missions that reward them at 50% drop rate. Even one with completely irrelevant random stats would still be better than those other ones, but ideally you'd want non-attrib or tech along with skill cooldown to get more uses out of his tank stuff.

Reminder: Skill cooldown on reactors is bugged, someone apparently entered the values wrong such that yellow text is the worst and blue is the best, opposite of every other stat.
