Her choice.) and have paid for more of the things. Dinners, movies, etc. Proportionately we might have paid the same when you factor in the income difference but in a dollars vs dollars reality I paid for a shitload more. I imagine most of you people here do as well.

The opening statements were more rhetorical in nature of that post. That said, the only persons relationship status I fully know on this forum is johnny49. Pure comedy gold.

Just because someone can give decent relationship advice doesn't mean they aren't paying for sex directly or indirectly. Some people are really good at rationalizing their own actions or commenting on the actions of others.

It's more subtle than dollars for sex but basically you'd have to be pretty naive to think that means (ie $$) is not a fundamental aspect of attraction that women look for. I know Sutekh isn't that naive. It's not about 'leaving' or whatever, but doing anything costs money whether it's simple flowers or a card or spending time and all of that purely 'emotional' garbage does have some $$ attached to it. In an idyllic world, everyone would call Tuco (it was Tuco right? I don't remember) an idiot for even buying a Moissanite ring because it's entirely impractical to spend money on vanity or tradition, right? Whether you are in a shitty relationship where the chick is only interested in fucking after you buy her a $80/plate dinner or just a normal one where your chick gets horny after a night out, things are being paid for directly or indirectly.

Ain't nothing free, I mean shit... the time I invest doing stuff with my GF to appease her need for attention I could be using to take on contract work for boat money or something. Even if we're sharing 'necessary' expenses as equally as possible, she likes paying for 'bills' and for me to 'entertain' her (IE, pay for movies/dinner/etc.). Even if the groceries = money for a night out we spend in one week, she still enjoys being treated. You could make the argument it's all bullshit, but you'd be pretty hard pressed to find a woman who doesn't expect to be treated occasionally lest they feel you don't care for them. Society and expectations and all that. I'm sure Mist would have a field day with this.
