I’ve watched a number of his videos lately, and of the ones I have watched, he starts out presenting the information as if it is factual and towards the end says what has been refuted.I've listened to halfish of the podcast. Pretty sure I haven't listened to him on anything thing else, impressions so far: It sounds like he's just name dropping people/*sciencewords!* the whole time. He also alternates between focusing on and glossing over details in an odd/suspicious way.

I have swam and lived near this lake for over 40 years, no chance it has a “sea monster”
They do have a 15-20ft feet sturgeon that sometimes surface. I understand how that can creat excitement when you want to believe
