Only on the ssdNOW line. They were using whatever combination of NAND and controllers they had in the warehouse to put them together, as long as they met the basic specs, which meant incredibly inconsistent. Literally a grab bag. The HyperX line has always been fine. In fact, they've turned out to be some of the best value you can get, they got very cheap way before any of the other good Sandforce SSDs got cheap, and their durability has turned out to be better than nearly anything.
I don't remember specifically which Kingston I had, but my first SSD I ever bought was a kingston and I felt like it didnt perform as well as my veliciraptors at the time. It was awful, and I returned it. I bought an intel a few years later and never looked back.

First ever bike, never rode before besides the MSF basic course. Two weeks in and I'm in love, I find stupid excuses to ride...

I find the intentional lack of chrome intriguing. I'm still trying to decide how I feel about it.

Oh, and yeah, up yo' insurance.

I dig the matte/no-chrome look. Cool looking bike.

I would never ride a bike in south Florida, though. Maybe if I lived in the boonies, I would.

I used to live in the boonies. I rather ride in moderate traffic. Around where I lived you got hit by bark flying off logging trucks, gravel from gravel trucks etc..

Love that darn thing! wish I could get one, even used lol! From pics and afar they looks about the same size as my Nissan van... I parked next to one and it made my van look like a VW micro van.... was thinking about getting my van and wife's rouge (1st gen) to turn into 2 new Murano's but I would really like that QX80... apparently before it was rebadged infinity and shipped over here- it has a great reputation in the mid east and Australia as a land rover level car in finery and ability.

A few months ago my wife bought aYogurt Maker. I like Yogurt and have been using that as my "Go to" snack instead of junk food for a few months. She made a batch when it first came in that was okay. Since I've been getting tired of spending $5-10 a week on this stuff I decided to try and make some of my own. Pulled down a recipe using Fresh Fruit, and went at making some Cherry Yogurt.

This shit is baller. Tastes great. First batch is a little soft (more runny than you might be used to, but still has that yogurt texture) but that just means I need to let it cook longer. Cost is minimal, makes 7 servings. Going to try a few different fruits, see what I can work with and see about making it closer to the consistency I'm used to.

People actually like those QX80's? They'd be on my list for ugliest vehicle on the road, easily. They're fucking hideous.

I used to make yogurt at least once a day. Not as much anymore.

We needed a bigger vehicle because we having two growing kids. It has plenty of space and an adult around my size can fit in the 2nd row with plenty of leg room. I was looking at the Yukon Denali but I got one hell of a deal on the QX80 that I couldn't pass up. I really like it but my only gripe it's a gas guzzler (which I knew it would be one) but thankfully my wife lives only 5 minutes from her job. She said it takes about $60.00 using premium gas to fill it up from empty.

I have yet to see a large luxury SUV with a 3rd row that I thought looked even remotely good. The BMW X5 is ugly as hell, so are Toyota Land Cruisers, Range Rovers, Lincoln Navigators, etc. Cadillac Escalades are alright, thats about the only half-decent looking one. You just get up to a vehicle that large and they look like half bus, which is never good.

Someone mentioned that they have an Escalade with a sticker price of $100k now.

Have you all seen the new Escalade? it seriously looks like they just took all the ebay aftermarket bling and made it "stock" and those tail lights... the Chevy and GMC versions look much better than its 20-40k more brother.

You have 3rd row crossovers/suvs that merely have the 3rd row for "oh crap" bills drunk and we gatta take him home so fold him up and get him in there- or its good for kids sub teen 3rd row... they are jump seats... such as the Nissan rogue, mitsu outlander... then the slightly more usable 3rd rows such as the pathfinder, highlander, santa fe (non sport) the new pilot, etc.

Then you have the "large" 3rd rows that are generally fully useable by adults etc. for a decent duration trip etc- those are the QX80s, escalades etc. - that's why I chose the van, it is that "just a bit" bigger than those 3rd row crossovers to make the back usable by "normal" adults and teens and have storage behind it still and it gets 18-20mpg in the city and really good on the highway.

I test drove sooooooo many crossovers and large suv's and the van was just more "practical" etc. but that was for baby crap- once they get to be "kids" and don't require carseats and only need a small booster or less- I will look to downsize to a 3rd row crossover or maybe 2row.... less I get a qx80 just because they are IMO nice :)

I think the Yukon XL looks pretty good. We have a black one as a "shop truck" (or "ski/camping trip truck" if the tax man isn't listening). And agreed that the Escalades are trying too hard. How anyone could think that an X5 looks worse than a QX80 is just beyond me, though. That vent on the front fender. What the fuck is it even doing there?
