next time at least open the beer before the shot. I like the fan but don't think I would personally buy it.
That beer has been there for at least a week. It's some gluten free raspberry crap my bud brought over. Shit is NASTY.

The fan is nice. Very nice. Well made and looks stylish IMO. It isn't as large as I expected, but it is actually the perfect size for a bedroom. I will keep it.

As for cost...I try my best to buy the most affordable quality item on anything I purchase. I hate buying the same shit over and over because it's made cheaply. This fan should last me 10 years easy if the initial quality is any indication. It's solid.

Those white noise machines just didn't cut it. They weren't loud enough to cover up those outside noises.

I'm pretty sure my $35 fan from Walmart is around 10 years old. It's not pretty like that one though.

That picture is the best. It's a good thing you said that beer has been there for awhile though, otherwise I was gonna tell you to put a fucking coaster under it so it didn't ruin your desk! What are we, savages?!

My old fan was about 10 years old...But rattled and made more noise than anything else.
But...you wanted it for the noise.

Also fuck that fan. After I clicked the link to look at it on Amazon that's all the pops up on ads now on Facebook and other sites.

Just splurged on some Jaybird bluebuds x (i.e. bluetooth earbuds). Expensive but wow what a changer. Takes some getting used to since I keep thinking that I have a wire attached to them. But to be able to walk around with them on and do shit like cook at the same time without fear of shit falling it out is liberating.

Do they really last 8 hours? I bought a $35 pair recently but they only last 4-5 hours so I have to charge them mid-day. At that price though I could have two pairs of my current ones and just swap them out.

Have yet to test that out. But most youtube reviewers pretty much confirmed it. Mines discharged when I got them since they had probably been on the shelf so long so had to charge them up. Took less then two hours but didn't time it. I will keep track and see how it goes. Sound quality was good but not mind fuckingly awesome.

Yeah one if the drivers/bud open ups and you plug in a micro(?) usb connector. The buds are kinda bulky considering they have bluetooth receivers in them but after a while you don't notice it. I ended up taking off the rubberized ear cushion things since they are uncomfortable in my freak ear crevices. Since I am not running with them on but mostly walking and stationary gym stuff I don't care. It takes a bit to get the ear cushion fit and positioned correctly though and I need to fiddle some more with them. They are supposed to show a charge bar on your phone but it did not show anything on my OPO android, I bet it works flawlessly on an iPhone lol. You do get a voice warning when they are about to discharge so there is that. There is a controller attached to the wires where you can turn them off/on and modify the sound.

My wife has the Jaybirds and they last reliably around 8 hours or so. They are expensive, but they had really good reviews so I bought them for her a christmas or two ago. She loves them. I think you can change around the position so they fit snug in your ears, or so she says.

The charging thing works with her iphone pretty well too.

Picked up a Intuos 4 pro (Small) for 60 bucks, brand new off craigslist. I made out like a fucking bandit.

I didn't buy it. The company did and it comes next week for my office. A few months of seasoning and it will be ready to use.

I have multiple cigars at my two houses. This one is just for the office and entertaining/relaxing etc...I'm going to put any cigars I put in that humidor on my expense account so probably a varied selection from really good cigars to mild ones for people who want a cigar that don't smoke or rarely do.

The cigar I smoke most often now days is an arturo fuente short stories. I got several nice boxes for christmas from several people. Two boxes of padron anniversary both '26 and '64. The stronger they are the more I like them. Don Pepin is another brand I favor, with the black label being my goto for a full length cigar smoke ulike the short stores which are typically a 30 minute smoke.

Are you my dad?

Gotthismemory foam topper for my bed. Wasn't willing to go all in on a mattress without some kind of test run. It seems nice so far, but not some revelation like people told me. Not convinced I should spend the $400+ for a good 10+ inch mattress.

I'll change my mind if I go a while with no back pain and my shoulder starts to feel better.

Man I bought one of those off Woot for some insane low price, it was one of the best items I've ever purchased in my life.
