I am having fun, the dungeons and world are great.

The pvp so far seems basically who ever lands CC first and you spend entire death CC'd. Gear is huge though it seems, seen people with 16k hp and just tank 10+ guys on them, yet go out there with 8k or so and you will die in an eye blink. I assume the super tanky are in some all evasion/endurance gear with full traits and str for HP.
Idk the dungeons are cool but are overcrowded ass cancer messes. Every area of every dungeon is just who engages a mob first and there's like 30 people in every room. They really need to release these new dungeons and unlock the areas of the existing ones.

New one drops tomorrow, then again Tuesday for Sauradoma and Thursday I believe for Syleus's floor 5-6. Should start to spread people out soon.

Part of that issue is that certain dungeons drop jack shit for certain classes and I don't think people realize you need them all for pity pieces and such. That list usually looks different for Death's Abyss, for instance.

But yeah, lots of people who are SnS + GS also don't want to "tank". They just want to DPS.

Ya, luckily most of the dungeons don't even require a tank, just been running 5 man dps/healer groups and blazing through stuff.

Most dungeons you can have a self healing tank and do fine for the most part. We ended up doing almost every final boss with 4 people at like 1800 gearscore. There's some very technical ones that can be iffy, like the alien guy, but the others are completely manageable with one tank with self heals and some bow guy running blessing.

Yup. The game is designed in that most damaged is blockable or avoidable entirely. And in some situations, ping ponging agro can actually be better than a typical "tank".

People just suck at avoiding damage, using their block, and for fuck's sake, spend the fucking miniscule sollant on stocking up your world tree leaves. The amount of people I see not using amotoi healing is infuriating.

Yeah I give the game a bit of credit pve-wise in that you can defeat pretty much anything if you have a group who uses defenses/self heals and knows mechanics. The problem there is most people don't block, don't heal themselves then rage at tanks/heals. In the good groups I have gotten, nobody comes close to dying and it makes it pretty easy on the heals because most of the dmg is completely avoidable. I like this design much better than say WOW.

Tbf I had legit zero clue about amitoi heal until 2 days ago. I don't think the game does a good job of telling you a lot of things.

You can also adjust in the game controls menu at what % of life the amitoi starts to heal you. Set that shit to 90% and let it blast if you have the sollant.

Which server are you all on? I've inadvertently ended up on Whisperion, which as it turns out is the server equivalent of Little Mexico / Rio De Huehue depending on the time of day.

The GvG aspects of this game are absolute trash. They are legit just bind rush zerg fests that end in stalemates more often than not. I don't get how devs can be this fucking braindead. Just make progressively increasing death timers every time you die during a conflict world boss so that eventually if you get wiped like 3+x's, the other team is guaranteed victory. Seems like such an insanely obvious thing and yet apparently not.

You realize you get 70% of your contribution wiped every time you die, right? So in effect, that alone acts as a "death penalty" for the dying side.

Does the contribution go to the killer? Regardless, everyone is wiping a bazillion times. It’s an absolute fuckfest. The PvP area should be the entire zone, increase respawn times, make it so you have to use bind stones further away.

They have a lot of pretty well thought out designs - this is not one of them.
