To be fair, it seems he does it regularly without repercussions. And I'm pretty sure threatening the kid with coming back and butfucking his dad with his mom's headless corpse or whatever was plenty of reason a father would definitely not go to the cops, some cops, somewhere. And the wife did seem like the forgiving type that would rather just not talk of unpleasantness than make a scene.

And thanks to the shitty pacing and narrative timelines, we have no real clue when that took place. Could have been that day and shit just hasn't hit the fan. Could have been a year ago and Velcro is untouchable and assaults anyone he damn pleases.

Meanwhile, nobody has answered how plausible it is to beat up a reporter after the first of an 8 part series has been published and act like it's being written on a weekly basis and the rest of the story isn't already sent to an editor and ready to go, only now with even more fucking fire to the story. Cmon, nerds, one of you dumb fuckers pretend you know shit all about newspaper publishing so you can justify that one!

Something we can definitely agree on. I think they should have started with him and done an episode or two of slow-build toward introducing other characters. He seems the main character, at the center, like this is his story. Get him established, start the main underlying story/mystery, and introduce other characters as they became relevant. What we got just devalues Velcro as a character, and the tradeoff isn't giving us much else to grasp on to. Just feels like all the characters were rushed and random right now because none of them got much space to be established.

Because it all made sense withing the context of the story, based on characters and a world that had been built up and established. It felt real in that world, with those characters.

The problem is we don't really understand this current world yet, or characters. So random shit that is going on without context sticks out as something not to be believed. It just seems like random shit without context or consequence, because right now there's nothing in the show to explain it other than 'he's crazy, doing crazy shit because everyone is crazy!"

Obviously he cant be dead, how the hell do you survive that ? Anyways hes gotta get put in the hospital for a bit and get out for revenge. There a bunch of scenes of him in bulletproof vest doing raids so he isnt dead

Also in the preview for next week didnt it look like Mcadams was outside the house right when Collin was shot
