He's not dead.
Maybe the guy in the previews is his identical twin, Bruce Velcoro?

But seriously, that would probably be less cheesy than him surviving via the "rubber bullets/wearing a vest/only trying to send a message" crap. I don't even think network TV stoops to that hackneyed suspense gimmick anymore. Either way, we'll always have robot dick.

His triplet Val K Velcoro and his lawyer Bob Loblaw come to save the day, finding VV's money in the banana stand!

I'm all for feminism, which is why I just swallowed that last line like it was a robot dick.

Speaking of tips... protip: when your main character is bad, don't have his ex wife saying "You're bad!" And when another character just isn't quite right, don't have his soon-to-be-ex-girlfriend saying "You're just not right!" Yeah, we get it.

CHiPs wanted to wrastle the faggot at the bank. Confirmed homo.

it was an ok episode. i didnt like the ending, we know the dude lives so it negates the coolness of him getting doubletapped at the end. some of those lines did feel like they were trying for some david lynch style atmosphere. problem is there is only one david lynch. im still hanging in there, show needs to pick up though.

I don't know. Getting point blanked in the gut with what appears to be a shotgun isn't something you just walk away from.

Beanbag guns aren't nearly as easy to get as regular buckshot. I'm skeptical.

What was the weird device in the secret room with the motion detector? Or whatever the fuck that was.

I thought the episode was average at best. Velcoro is the best character on this show and it isn't even close (but still nowhere near Rust from S1). I thought the scene with the ex-wife was very good as well as the car conversation. I'm a little down on McAdams though but maybe it's because she's hasn't had great dialogue. I hope the season doesn't suffer from the 'too many cooks in the kitchen' syndrome where it's trying to fit in 4 separate character stories each episode on top of the over-arching investigation. What made S1 work was it was only 2 main characters.

Yeah the decision to go to essentially 4 main characters from just 2 in S1 hasn't worked well so far. Not with the limited number of episodes they're going with.

No one is going to shoot a guy with a bean bag.

However, if it was a shotgun with any real ammunition, then someone has to immediately be available to stop the guy from finishing him off with another shot (or noticing he has a vest on and no blood is showing) and to call an ambulance. My guess is that knife lady or motorcyclecop ended up following and will burst on the scene.

Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

The only reason to shoot him with a non-lethal round is as a "message". Perhaps they want to let him know that bad things are going to happen if he sticks his nose in the wrong place but they're not actually to the point of straight-up murdering a cop.

Maybe VV wanted to send him a message about wanting to quit? He(or the pimp) were the only 2 that knew someone would be there relatively soon. Meaning that the ammunition used was probably non-lethal.

As an aside, I really can't stand VV in this role. Every time he is delivering his dialogue, I just get the desire to change the channel and wait for him to just go away. I hope porno stache offs him soon.

I'm not sure but I assumed it was a camera.
Wasn't it hooked up to a portable hard drive? That would be something to take for evidence given it had a clear line of sight into the room where the sling was hanging if the door was open.

CHiPs definitely seems to have some closeted homo self-denial going on. And his mother seemed overly affectionate with him in a not-so-comfortable way.

The video earlier already confirmed anyway but ...

The only thing I can say for certain is VV's character clearly thinks he's a criminal mastermind but it's apparent he has had a very easy time with things until now. If he ever had to struggle through any of his enterprises he wouldn't have double mortgaged his house and his other property and gave every single penny he had to a "business partner" he barely knew. He's beyond himself and I think he's going to start acting real crazy and doing real stupid stuff real soon as he tries to salvage things. He's fumbling already.

I think he's playing the role fine but that's about it. It's just fine. Farrell is knocking his role out of the park so far and McAdams is playing her role really well too I feel. She's a little gritty and very believable. CHiPs is doing a pretty good job too I think. VV is definitely the weakest so far but I don't think he's been bad per se.

Yeah based on McAdam's conversation with the shrink I don't think her character would exactly have a glowing personality. So many of the characters seem stifled but that's probably how they're supposed to be. Velcoro is shining because he's surrounded by muted personalities (in addition to Farrell doing a good job with the role). If anything it's a flaw of writing to put that many broken personalities together in the story. But it's still early yet.

That's exactly how season 1 was written too. There wasn't a single "decent" person on that main cast. I'm pretty sure that's the formula for this show.

He's like Stringer Bell. Dude doesn't get it yet. His monologue in the beginning certainly shows he hasn't had an easy time with things, haha.

VV is a really bad storyteller. He's fine in dialogue scenes, but his storytelling scenes really are just bad. His life and childhood may not have been easy, but a man who has struggled to the top would be at least a little more savvy. His conversation with the mayor (that guy is the mayor of vinci right?) led me to believe he just kind of fell into his place within that corrupt city and has had an easy time with things because of how corrupt everything is and was long before he got there. He hasn't had to build anything there himself.
