I know one thing being looked at is raising the age of internet adulthood. Effectively the date you as a person can consent to certain things on the internet and get an account on a website. This is completely independent of “adult material”. Want an email account or TikTok account? Need to be at least 13
Back in the early 90s, age of internet adulthood was set at 13. There has been talk of raising that age at least few years - social media has been the primary driving force behind raising the age.
