Given what mega pricks they were in the 60s, I fully believe they intentionally tagged the liberty. I am not full on tinfoil hat enough to say I believe that they knew 9-11 was coming, but it would not surprise me in the least if they did. If it were not for a combination of WW2 guilt and brown people hatred driving our foreign policy, we might have had a more peaceful and reasonably ally in the middle east, like Jordan, instead of these assholes who take our money and then turn around and use it to tip our political system in their favor. I don't often agree with the teabaggers, but I am all for cutting those cocksuckers loose and letting them handling their own affairs. All they have done is fuck us in the ass and make us thank them for the privilege.

Terrorists 'use Google maps to hit UK troops'

Terrorists attacking British bases in Basra are using aerial footage displayed by the Google Earth internet tool to pinpoint their attacks, say Army intelligence sources.

Documents seized during raids on the homes of insurgents last week uncovered print-outs from photographs taken from Google.
The satellite photographs show in detail the buildings inside the bases and vulnerable areas such as tented accommodation, lavatory blocks and where lightly armoured Land Rovers are parked.

Written on the back of one set of photographs taken of the Shatt al Arab Hotel, headquarters for the 1,000 men of the Staffordshire Regiment battle group, officers found the camp's precise longitude and latitude.

PS- And if Russia wants to handle dismantling Syrian chemical weapon capacity, then by all means let them do it. Then when they do something retarded down the line, Russia will be on the hook for it and not us. I see it as a win/win, plus Russia has financial skin in the game of what happens here, so they are motivated to get shit done in this area. Its not going to be much different than when Israel finally gets caught red handed doing something really stupid and we are trying to stick up for them because they are the number three owner of politicians in this country (behind Energy and Defense Industries).
