Quirky Questions: Why does coffee make me poop? | One Medical GroupDoes caffeine make people shit? I've never experienced the so called "pwo dump."
Last I read, doctors claimed it wasn't the caffeine that made people go from coffee, because decaf has the same effect in people who shit after drinking coffee.
Beans make you shit because you can't digest the ogilosacchirides found in beans. But the bacteria in your intestines can. Well, they make you fart technically, but I could see that speeding up the shitting process too.Interesting. Beans make me shit. I think I have IBS.
Im about to start my first bulk too. Ending my weight loss journey from 230 to 150. I really wanted to get into single digit bodyfats too but whatevs. My gyms hand held thing has me at 12% @ 155. Im taking a break from lifting and just grinding out cardio 5x a week till 150 then BULK TILL NEW YEARS so stokedNext week I'll finally be starting to bulk. Should have done it ages ago but I've always been obsessed with getting to single digit body fat levels, but I don't think I can lose any more weight without looking scrawny and I think adding some muscle will have a greater positive effect on appearance than losing more weight.
I have also come to the conclusion that eating at a deficit to drop to the single digits requires too much sacrifice and discipline to be futile unless you're training for competitions. Part of the reason why I haven't started bulking yet is because I'll follow a strict diet for 4-5 weeks, then get bored of turning down invites and social events, have a heavy night and then bad food the next day and then push back the bulking another week. If I don't say enough is enough and start then I'll probably never start lol.
Also, I'd say at my leanest I was 8-9% and I only held that "look" for a few days at the most - it seemed that just looking at a plate of food was enough to make me put on more weight
How tall are you?Im about to start my first bulk too. Ending my weight loss journey from 230 to 150. 5'10ish and Im not worried about losing muscle in the 2 weeks tops Im going to grind out these last few poundsHow tall are you?
I wouldn't drop the lifting, I wouldn't want to risk losing any muscle.
Probo not, but I check like once a month and the number keeps getting lower! Are those handheld shits accurate at all?
I find it hard to believe my abs are showing at 16% but I suppose it's possible.
This happened to me 5 or 6 months back. For a while you feel you can eat anything as long as there are no carbs, and it works so well. Then you have to pay attention again. At least you still feel full.Aaaaaaand I stalled for a month. Looks like I was wrong about it being only about carbs.
Time to start doing low carb with counting calories.
Yeah. I allowed myself to eat whatever I wanted even if I wasn't hungry. Always low carb. I over ate just about every day for almost fifteen months and this is the first time I didn't lose weight doing that. This happened to me 5 or 6 months back. Hmm, you're 1 inch shorter than me and I've decided to bulk at 163lbs, any lower than 158-160 and I think I'd look like Skeletor. Whats your physique like now?5'10ish and Im not worried about losing muscle in the 2 weeks tops Im going to grind out these last few pounds
It's crazy how much different two people of the same height can look at a similar weight. At 160 I'm pretty shredded and have a friend about my size but a little higher bf who's 145-150Hmm, you're 1 inch shorter than me and I've decided to bulk at 163lbs, any lower than 158-160 and I think I'd look like Skeletor. It's about calories in versus calories out, it's not easy. The hardest thing to control is calories in... I've been doing 2 protein shakes a day (500ish calories) and 1 decently large meal (about 1000, maybe something like a footlong sub), 1 tiny snack (something 200ish)... and that's pretty much been an every day thing for an entire month... It's sooo different than how I used to be with actually eating meals ... just because it was a habit to eat breakfast lunch and dinner.Aaaaaaand I stalled for a month. Looks like I was wrong about it being only about carbs.
