Basically, yes. Adjust your diet and see what happens before introducing pharmaceuticals into the mix. Is Chaos on some do-or-die diet plan prescribed by his doctor? If not, why add pharmas to the equation when minor food changes (especially since he's already watching his intake) would accomplish the same, and uh, not add pharmas to your "diet"? If the doctor has, however, stated that Chaos needs to lose x lbs via low-cal diets in the next y days/weeks, then sure, drug away if the doctor is ok with it. But if not... what is he racing towards? Adjusting intake is substantially more sustainable than taking drugs to overcome feeling like shit because the specific diet plan someone is adhering to isn't in their best interest to follow.
This is similar to the "big" guys in the weightlifting thread talking about taking painkillers so they can keep lifting weights when they aren't competing and the numbers mean nothing outside of personal benchmarks.
