And pots, pans, spices, measuring cups...You know the shit I don't have because I never needed it? He was railing on more than learning to cook also. You know how to search the internet for ways to min/max your wizard to the nth degree but you can't be bothered to search the internet for easy, tasty meals. That's his point.
Cooking is really easy. You don't need years of experience, all you need is an internet connection and to know how to read.
WTF are you talking about?Do you want to lose weight or do you just want to bitch about how you don't own any 25 cent measuring cups?
I hate you.You could find something you know is say....40oz and use that to measure stuff pretty accurately.
Had a Bulgarian immigrant I worked with, who had a full on cook stove and bags of raw buckwheat and veggies he would take out of the fridge and cook during the late morning for lunch. hahaThere is a dude that has a mini crock pot at work, fucker brings in some shit, puts it in there in the morning and by lunch its good to go. Only thing is, were all suffering around him smelling the tasty shit hes cooking up for the entire morning.
Never married. My girls parents did all the cooking the last 20 years.Brahma did your wife not cook either? Just aksing since you mentioned having to buy that stuff
You're making it sound like some grand quest, when its reallyAnd pots, pans, spices, measuring cups...You know the shit I don't have because I never needed it? He was railing on more than learning to cook also.
Oh, never knewNever married. My girls parents did all the cooking the last 20 years.
It was! I had zero idea there was so many types of pots/pans, knives, eye of newt...I had pepper and some green shit for spices. A pot used to boil my eggs in the morning, and a dull knife. You're making it sound like some grand quest...
It wasn't straight up advice. It was tips andgeneral advicearound things that have workedfor methusfar that I was just passing on. Obviously every body is different, what works for me might not work for someone else, or if someone doesn't wnat to lose as fast, then certainly keep it at about 2000-2200 cal per day. *Shrug*Look, it's great that you want to lose weight but you're 7 days in - can you wait until ummm you've been doing this a while and reached your goal weight before you start giving out shitty advice?
That's because they don't learn how to eat. They simply starve themselves, actually lose the weight, then go back to old habits. Again, my diet is physician administered, and its more than just "get into keto and lose weight gg". I'm learning a lot about how certain foods interact with bodies, etc. I go to a weekly saturday session for 2 hours to learn about this shit. It's not for an education, but so that you can be more prone to make better choices in the future. Losing weight, and keeping it off is a major lifestyle choice you need to commit to the rest of your life, not for a few months.I'm not a lawyer and only a shitty internet doctor, but I read a study saying that when people lose weight too quickly they are more prone to put the weight back on. Like, 100% fail rate.
no bbq sauce. You're making it sound like some grand quest, when its really
1) google, read for 2 min
2) make list of things you need to buy
3) go to [insert store here] and buy all on list.
And cooking some awesome simple meal is:
1) rub chicken breast with 1 tbsp olive oil.
2) put pan on medium to medium-high heat for 5 minutes.
3) put chicken in pan cook 4 min each side, check temperature with thermometer, cook longer if needed until 165 degrees.
4) put a shit ton of spinach in big bowl. optional: add tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, red onion. see youtube video on how to use knife to make a big carrot into smaller pieces of carrot.Note: youtube tip for carrot size reduction can typically be applied to other vegetables.
5) add 2 tbsp light vinigriatte dressing to big bowl of green and healthy things.
6) Eat chicken breast and salad. Add salt, pepper, and barbecue sauce as needed.
7) realize you had no carbs with dinner but still feel full and now you get to eat a serving of ice cream.
Or... gobble your drumsticks in a corner of the living room with hunger-tears in your eyes as you wash them down with hardly-satisfying diet rootbeer while youtube is taunting you with recipes that FILL YOU WITH TERROR AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHY. Oh my god is that thing GREEN? Why would anyone eat that!?
JK, I know you didn't check youtube.
This is awesome. You should make a youtube channel dedicated to thisIt was! I had zero idea there was so many types of pots/pans, knives, eye of newt...I had pepper and some green shit for spices. A pot used to boil my eggs in the morning, and a dull knife.
Now I have TWO pots, a crock pot and a decent set of knives. Tons of spices from Ocean State Job Lot (and a couple measuring cups). No idea what they taste like, but if you tube says use it...I do! My kids think I'm a fuckin chef now!
I dunno. Seriously and straight up honesty, I've never felt better. I'm really not hungry. I am getting a complete blood panel done in a week or two (need to check) and I'll share any results, but right now no one seems concerned and my doctor is extremely pleased iwth the results.AlAF was clearly swollen as F internally and is in the process of depleting it, though he's (according to his numbers) averaging more than double the weight loss he should at absolute most per day even with that taken into consideration. At 0 intake, he is only using at most 3500 calories of energy a day (almost guaranteed less) so 1lb -max- lost a day. Him 18lbs lower at 9 days in says to me that there has to be something else major going on. He's not at 0 intake, and while I still heavily question a hard number of 1400 as a "max" for his intake and not feeling hungry (a literal half of the caloric intake required to maintain weight at his size and clearly of an entirely different composition) if the numbers are correct there still has to be something else. 18lbs in 9 days is not normal, and regardless how abnormal his fat% is, I'm seriously confused how his doctor is signing off on this.
If he's still losing anywhere even close to 4lbs a week after a few weeks? There's going to be flaps. Flaps everywhere. Though I would imagine that would be the least of his concerns if that trajectory continues. That's serious health issue weightloss.
How much were you before the wight loss.I dunno. Seriously and straight up honesty, I've never felt better. I'm really not hungry. I am getting a complete blood panel done in a week or two (need to check) and I'll share any results, but right now no one seems concerned and my doctor is extremely pleased iwth the results.
Was 289.2 this morning.
Depending on flaps, I'll work on having some of that removed most likely. That doesn't bother me, so long as I'm in good health. I'll bring up some of these concerns to him in our next appt, see what he says.
I'm cooking most of my meals, don't blame all fatasses!Holy fuck. First Brahma with his "i ate 5 drumsticks and a bunch of diet root beers for dinner // WHY AM I SO HUNGRY" and now Gilg "90 percent of what I eat is frozen processed garbage food"
Are you fat people with shit diets just pathologically opposed to googling for "easy recipes with chicken breast"? Did you take the character flaw "never cook" when you rolled your character?
Has it occurred to you to ask people with great physiques and health what they eat, then model your plan after them? Do you expect them to say "I eat fried chicken and diet rootbeer" or "I eat microwavable chicken entrees and watermelon."
