Pretty sure this thread should be locked for the rest of the week
My country ass didnt even know what these were. Then I realized its just a single layer of pumpkin cake when I looked it up.What, just because I'm 3 pans of pumpkin bars deep or something?
I justed started on it three weeks ago. Does it stop you from getting hungry, absolutely not. But if you were like me it's making a huge difference in what I experience when I am dieting. So you still need to watch what you eat and choose a healthy diet or you won't lose weight. It won't make you lose weight, you still have to will yourself to do the right things.
( hope that helps)
Now the things I noticed. I use to go into what I called bear mode 4-5 nights a week where I would just destroy anything I could get my hands on. I haven't gone into bear mode a single time since I started Wegovy. Whenever I have dieted in the past after two weeks I would get so hungry that people started looking like giant drumsticks to me. People thought I was kidding, I was not. I am not experiencing anything like that right now. It really feels different this time.
As of right now I'm down 15 pounds after 3 weeks. I hope to lose another 80 over the next year. I hear it's very common for people to plateau before they reach their goal. Hopefully I keep losing.
What about those individual yogurts?! Often a shit ton of sugar.
I just got myself used to plain greek, I'm not a fan of how the fake sugars come across in most yogurts. I prefer to just add or have with some nuts, dried/fresh fruit, or muesli . I also don't pay very close attention to fat as long as it isn't a bunch of processed oils.Find a yogurt without sugar, or a low amount. Chobani makes a zero sugar version, but I happen to think Chobani tastes like paste.
I settled on dannon light and fit Greek, 150 calories, 8 carbs, 12 protein, actually tastes like yogurt.
Your mileage may vary.
Why would you need to shake it and not just stir it with a spoon? These fucking things are the devil. Big ass cups for just 80 calories & 12G protein.
Light + Fit® Nonfat Greek Yogurt
Creamy Dannon Light + Fit Nonfat Greek yogurt has only 80 calories per 5.3oz serving and 0% fat. Plus, it comes in a variety of delicious flavors.www.lightandfit.com
Gotta shake the shit out of the ones with fruit. My favorites are the Peach and the Blueberry ones. Problem is, some days my inner self will just scream to have a second one.
I suppose you could do either. But I think it mixes the actual fruit better. Dude... such an inane comment. tfWhy would you need to shake it and not just stir it with a spoon?
Lmao sorry I've just never heard of someone shaking a yogurt container to mix it before.I suppose you could do either. But I think it mixes the actual fruit better. Dude... such an inane comment. tf

Like most things that are advertised as "fit" or "healthy" - they arent. The biggest take away from those is that theyre relatively cheap. 80 Calories, which you can burn off in 10 minutes at a slow walk. Has protein to help you meet or exceed your protein goals. Lastly, and most importantly, it fills you up a bit. Its more psychological than physical, even though RFK is probably twitching at the thought of it.Why would you remove the fat and add sugar in anyway to an otherwise perfectly fine yogurt?
Also, I know someone who worked at Danone, they're not the worst quality out there, but still, in the 90’s he was talking about how they had trouble fermenting yogurt because there was too much antibiotic in the milk.
So while eating fermented milk guarantee that you don’t have insane amount of antibiotics left in it, you probably still have some which might severly reduce the gut benefit.
So organic cost $1 per pound, probably worth it.
"She started eating like a normal person" - If she's ballooning up, she's not eating like a normal person. I dont know if its just because I got skinny on my own merit's instead of using Ozempic or Wagove or w/e - but Im ultra/keenly aware of how many calories shit has in it now. If my BMR is 1857, I knock out 2/3's of that number by just eating a basic burrito at Chipotle without all the extra additions to it. Hell, if I add all the other shit like cheese and Guac - I bet I could just make that a meal for the whole day. Then, my metabolism and blood sugar is going to be erratic and fuck my shit up even worse.Coworkers wife took Ozempic, 205 at the start. Took it for 3 months and dropped to 175, plateau can’t lose anymore weight so she ups the dosage, gets down to 160 plateaus again. Happy at 160 and not willing to up the dosage anymore because the thought of food just made her depressed and she couldn’t finish any amount of food she put on her plate at this point.
Six months 45 pounds lost, off the ozempic she goes. Within a month she was back to 185 because she lowered her caloric intake so low while on ozempic her basil metabolic rate plummeted and with nothing to suppress her appetite she ate like a normal person and ballooned up.
She then went back on it, lost the weight again but now she has ozempic face, is weak, depressed and my coworker wants his fat wife back because he says she looks and behaves like a zombie.
This shit isn’t good for you, don’t use it. Eat lots of protein, avoid highly processed foods, avoid sugar, go to the gym 2-4 times a week for an hour and take creatine. You’ll learn good habits, eat good and grow muscle and that’s something all of us old fucks are going to need as we begin to lose muscle due to age, don’t use ozempic which is known to cause you to lose muscle.
You think we have long term studies for these drugs?Like most things that are advertised as "fit" or "healthy" - they arent. I think Ozempic and similar is "terrible" - let me be clear. But I am more than supportive of the people that use it and lose weight. "Zombie" face and all that shit is unfortunate, but losing that weight is far more beneficial than the detriments that we've learned about the drug "so far."
