Not on the scale people are using them now, but they've been studying GLP-1's since the 90's.You think we have long term studies for these drugs?

Sounds like an antagonistic response when I literally said its "terrible" and what "we've learned about the drug "so far"". But okYou think we have long term studies for these drugs?
Sorry I have no faith in them at all and past history with pharmaceutical companies operate. Rush drug collect 10B, pay 4B in fine and suits, collect 6B.Sounds like an antagonistic response when I literally said its "terrible" and what "we've learned about the drug "so far"". But ok![]()
Injecting man made GLP-1s or just studying them in general id bet they don’t have long term studies of injecting man made GLP-1s?Not on the scale people are using them now, but they've been studying GLP-1's since the 90's.
Don't you think you should know the answer to that before you make a comment like "You think we have long term studies for these drugs" ?Injecting man made GLP-1s or just studying them in general id bet they don’t have long term studies of injecting man made GLP-1s?
Thats fine and I understand where you're coming from. My point was that the health benefits as of "right now" far outweigh any of the negative side effects. Heart problems, Back Problems, Intestinal problems, etc. Never mind things like the onset of Diabetes, which is curb stomped by the reduction in weight and low appetite. .. Do you see where Im going with it, at least? I think the drug is scary, personally. But "so far" - again, Im prefacing it - but "so far" ... there is just no comparison. People across the world arent going to magically start eating less on their own accord. Taking a shot of this is "easy" for them, and if thats the best shot we got at people being healthier - Im all for it.Sorry I have no faith in them at all and past history with pharmaceutical companies operate. Rush drug collect 10B, pay 4B in fine and suits, collect 6B.
Ozempic has been around for over a decade now, so yes. Then again I am on it for beetus, so the weight control is just a nice knock on effect for me.You think we have long term studies for these drugs?
Yea, Im still going to say you could just control your diet. But hope it helps ya man.Injected myself with Mounjaro, will share results.

Willpower is always the hard part. Inertia is a bitch.Smokers could just stop. Alcoholics too.

People like to avoid responsibility for their actions, even if it's the act of being weak willed.Willpower is always the hard part.
Everyone has something, I binge eat to relieve stress. I have the metabolism for it so I'm not obese, but obviously it's not ideal.Facts.

Yea it works. But you're still going to have to learn how to control how much you're eating, what you can eat and what you cant eat. Instinctively know how many calories you've eaten throughout the day and the kind of work you need to put in if it goes past your BMR. I know a handful of people that have used that drug or the other one and out of all of them, only my niece has kept the body weight off after stopping and thats because I built her a gym routine with a diet plan. .... But even she is starting to slip back into dumb shit. She put up a fucking video about what you can and cannot eat at fucking Popeyes Chicken of all places the other day. Im not saying she cant eat it. But I've noticed between all of them is that they started to rationalize eating shitty food "Oh its only 310 calories if I dont eat the biscuit!" ... Ok.. and how long before you say "Its only 580 calories with the biscuit!" as if the 300 calories she burns off on the fucking Stairmaster is going to make all that other shit disappear.Weight loss injections are working, using Mounjaro for 6 weeks. Lost about 26 pounds/3 BMI.
I binge eat when stressed, the drug removes that temptation somehow and when I do try to overeat I feel full much sooner than I otherwise would. So no more overeating or snacking.
I guess main thing causing that is digestion being slower.
I've been able to cut out 1.5 meals a day (much smaller breakfast if any, no lunch) without feeling any ill effects. I've tried to fast before and been unable to. Probably saving money overall as the drug is expensive but buying much less food.
Results are the same as when I tried Paleo (getting as close to Carnivore as possible) a few months ago but I've been able to maintain it without cheat days as it's less practical to mostly eat meat.
Big recommend.
