Both Dolores strats ("kill all my allies! haha!") and the merc force ("walk into fire!") are retarded but hopefully that gets better
I fully expected her to sacrifice all the soldiers and then revive them. I can't really figure out where her line of thinking that she gets to decide who lives and dies.

It's pretty hypocritical of her to deny the chance to awaken to any other host. I mean, it's not like she figured this shit out on her first go either. But now she's apparently like "Nah, you don't have potential." It really makes her character even more unlikable.

This season is just weird. Bernard and Dolores are aware of how vast the actual human world is. As the park gets more and more out of control you run into the situation of... just bomb the shithole to the ground and go back to the drawing board. Because all of them still have bombs or disabling devices grafted into their spinal columns. Except Maeve.

And why can't Maeve disable any host? Just specific ones? She has Spuser access.

Ghost nation is different. Remember, they surrounded Stubbs in the first season yet now he's okay. They only wanted Sizemore this episode. I think they have been altered to operate differently.

A possible reason why:
Elsie is not dead.

Dolores makes no sense to me. I don't know if it's accurate to say that she understands the vastness of the outside world either. All she's done is see some city lights out the window and attend one cocktail party.

I guess I missed the explanation on how the guns work. Somebody want to fill me in?

That woman from india world reminded me of Theresa. The way she held and smoked her cigarette seemed identical.

The guns shoot bullets that only bruise humans but kill hosts, i guess programmed nanite bullets or something. somehow dolores has reprogrammed everything though so hosts see humans as hosts and the guns now kill humans. the episode 3 opener demonstrated this perfectly, as lady in India world shot the other dude at the start to ensure he's human (it only bruised him), later one of the guide hosts shoots the same dude and it kills him, and she in turn shoots a big ass gun into the guide hosts face and kills him.

It is pretty weird and extremely inconsistent, in season 1 there was an episode where william wanted to explode some dynamite and he had to call in to the Park HQ and they authorized a small explosion but now in season 2 shit is exploding all over the place. They also mentioned in season 1 that only cookie, the guy who was trying to transmit something to the outside world and suicided himself by rock, was the only one authorized to handle the axe since it could be used to kill guests so they limit how many hosts can handle that kind of thing, but thats been kinda thrown out now too.

this is what happens when you go past just sex bots and VR and into theme parks, its all disney's fault

You don't even need this explanation. Almost no hosts are listening to commands right now from anyone.

Then why did Maeve disable the one in the lab that was attacking whatever his name is? The cannibal one.

I have a strong feeling the writers are going to lose control of the story this season from too much sniffing of their own farts and this is going to become a meme / joke of a show, kinda like walking dead. I hope not, but my optimism is waning.

maybe the 'virus' or whatever the fuck hadn't spread to that one, maybe the writers are retarded? or maybe dicktrickle is right.

we're not getting any sort of consistency

(did anyone notice the robot shot in the fact in hunting land had like a completely robotic shell underneath?)

yeah. it was established in s1 that all the guns, explosives, etc were squibs. The hosts, are programmed to explode themselves on taking gunshots.
As noted, the control center had to activate dynamite in s1, to allow it to explode.

You need something to explain why they would let go of Stubbs. If they're not self-aware, they should be operating by their old behaviors, unless they've been purposefully changed.

At this point whatever ford / bernard did, plus whatever fuck ups delos maybe created trying to extract data, has probably propagated through the system. Who knows, like I said, this show has somehow managed to make the theory crafting not very fun. Not sure how they managed it.

It seems to me the problem here is that we went from pondering "What makes a human?" to wondering "Am i looking at a human or a machine?" and "What time line is it?". They completely changed the underlying idea of the show and reduced it to a guessing game as to who is what. Pretty sure they should have left it as a 10 part mini-series.

I think the plan to get an entire host out of the park (Abernathy) is also fucking dumb. Bash his skull in and take his brain CPU. The thing is like the size of a baseball. Pocket that shit and run. Plenty of chaos right no to cover your tracks with. Bernard also showed us that the primary Host networking functionality is disabled. He had to hard connect to Abernathy to see what was up with him.

But they also mentioned that hosts have minor telepathy or whatever to keep them from interfering with each other's narratives.

Yeah this is getting really convoluted.

Yeah, I think this is starting to go off the rails. For all the theory crafting of last season there was one main strand or story. Now there's like 10 different "main" stories but they're all jumbled up and it's making it a pain in the ass to follow along. Someone posted on Twitter that at this point they'd rather just read a wikipedia page on the season than slog through it and unless something changes in the next episode or two I'd have to say I agree.

As far as the girl in India world, a lot of people think it's William's daughter.

The only other thing that stood out was Dolores is clearly about to off Teddy for letting those Hosts go free.

See this is my problem. That india scenes, i'm wracking my brain trying to figure out what timeline we're in. Especially considering dat bitch looked EXACTLY like a young Theresa Cullen, smoke a cig the same way, ect ect, so i'm think def in the past and this whole robot uprising has happened before (also cause of the robot insides in the face she shot, i'm thinking older tech). Got even more excited that they used the same 'violent delights' phrase.

THEN, i'm realizing well they found that bengal in current time, which was even more cemented in at the end of the show, so now they are either just being fuckheads with a bengal incident happening the exact same way in two different timelines, or this is just some rando present day bitch being introduced into a show that already has way to much going on.

Feel like this is either some fucking cylon like robot game loop that's been going on for millennia and all the humans are dead or gone, or this show is in the process of jumping the rails while the writers laugh at us.

Oh good, it wasnt just me with that girl at the start. Maybe the tiger was laying there for 30 years and no one knew? That story in india park pretty much set the mood for me for the entire episode and it was not a mood conductive to enjoying the show experience.

they're also shitting all over the "we've upgraded to 100% organic hosts" thing from last season, we're getting shown this isn't even close to reality time and time again, and so whenever I see those bone structures getting dipped in white goo and tendons being sewn in i'm rolling my eyes now.
