On that same subject, by what witchery is the Season Delve Progress measured? There's no actual number on the progress bar and while I have heard that 'season progress' is something looted at the end of the Delve run in the chests I've never consciously noticed (auto-loot turned on). I'm one-and-a-half ticks in and Ive been doing delves quite regularly. In comparison Ive been done with the main season bar since a couple days after it began.

You get progress from Bountiful Delves regardless if you use a key or not. You get more by killing the empowered packs (ghostly Zekvir with the void beams attached to the mobs). You can get 600 progress a day if you do them consistently. I have 3 of the airship parts unlocked doing 8 a week so far.

Hit 80 on my DH this morning and started taking him down the line towards Tanking. I thought I could hit at least 600 by the end of the day, easy.... I took him through BT Timewalking this morning, and got two shoulders from bosses, and you know what was in my Weekly Chest for that BT Timewalking? A shoulder. At least its 610, I guess.
I followed that up with a bountiful and failed it on the last boss. It was the Delve that has the "Darkness" effect, so you can barely see anything relevant the entire fucking Delve. Then the last boss, its still dark, but he's spewing out purple shit everywhere that you have to keep clear with an action button that rushes you forward 40 yards clearing the purple along the way. Except, there are no side rails, and Im also doing it mostly greens getting chunked for 1/3rd of my health while also not trying to stand in thew newly forming puddles or the current ones that would almost or would kill me. I came close to killing the guy a couple times but would zip off the edge just barely, or the end of the dash would land me in a puddle that was newly forming and slam me for 6 million HP. I used all 6 lives, so I just threw in the towel and started doing WQ's, normals, following up with the Max Level Story for Valor Stones, etc.
Except, thats not the end of the story. I got three fucking Delve Trinkets from the 3 bountifuls I did clear later this evening. They sound neat, but Spelunkers, Jaw Bone, and whatever that third one is were all ranked C through F for a V: DH. I'm going to use one because its an ilvl upgrade, but it blew my mind that I got three trinkets in a fucking row after getting three fucking shoulders in a row this morning. I honestly think theyre fucking with the loot table at this point. Cause

pointed something out to me day before yesterday when we were doing Delves on our mains. They fixed the Curios - which probably also means that they probably did some shit "while they were in there" to the drop chances of maps, etc. Because I got two maps on my main on the first day. I didnt get a single one this week out of 8 runs, but I think Juva got 1. Can probably get up to around 603'ish tomorrow (Neck is still green) - but today has been a shit show for sure. All this because I just got so sick of having to depend on a fucking tank to not be brain dead when I run a Mythic+. Climbing up above 603 reliably is going to be fucking awful, though. Anyone familiar with crafting know the average price of crafted gear that you can buy? Do they all require work orders with sparks, omens, whatever? Or are there just some straight up raw dog pieces that you can buy?

For that boss fight the back rails are kind of there. Haven't tried running at them directly at short distance, but they did seem to stop me when I did that fight. I know what you mean about the side by the ramp, though. That shit sucks giant floppy donkey dick.

Really digging mage still. Bear is fun tank but my other druid specs don't feel great (haven't really geared them tbf, my stat prio is vers and feral requires a shit ton of mastery).
Arcane and Frost are different enough to warrant switching between to keep it interesting or exploit their strengths, and they use the same stat prios so gearing is relatively the same. Also its nice that arcane can kind of justify using two on use trinkets as their burst windows kind of align that way.
Does anyone know of a good checklist to run through on max level 80s? What are the highest things to prioritize? So far I try to get 8 delves done because the weekly chest reward from delve seems to best if you aren't raiding.

This week has been nothing but cloaks...ahh well I'm an enchanter so shards it is.
Poly is actually very handy in delves because you can still use Bran's fire even in combat. You can even frost nova and go grab a couple bites while in an actual fight.
(At some point I'm gonna need to push to 11 and do Zevkir, but I figure I have plenty of time)

Anyone else had problems in Ara Kara: City of Retards?
Got +4 or +5 in every dungeon without issue. This place took maybe 5 tries. People not killing adds on 1st boss, people not making puddles and standing in puddles on 3rd boss. I can almost solo the 3rd boss, took it from 20% to 5% alone a few times but didn't quite have enough juice to finish the job.
Did a +3 and got a godmode Evoker who killed the 1st boss in 10 seconds. Anyway just got the +5.

Its one of the easier ones. One thing I do have an issue with is random screen locks when the 2nd boss does his frontal. IDK why but I guess I am not the only one. Last boss can be interesting if people dont co-ordinate but its a very lenient timer.
Are bountiful delves any more difficult than their non-bountiful counterparts? For example, is a T8 delve the same as a tier 8 bountiful delve as far as mob difficulty goes?

I didnt like how the Demon Hunter tanked. So I used my boost on a prot paladin and geared him. I can get up to the 590’s in a few hours right now without spending any gold. The weeklies and the delves just fast forward your item level incredibly quick.
But I did a few mythics tonight before logging off. This was my exact sentiment:
They are mechanically heavier, but difficulty is subjective. Like kriegs rest or whatever has a shit ton of rotating torch candles instead of just a few. Theyve got empowered packs of enemies as well. But you can generally single pull out of them.
Just takes more time to clear in my opinion. But I understand not every class can do them easily. Thats why Im starting to see people advertising clearing services for 10-20k per delve now. Considering 30 minutes of harvesting herbs and nodes will net you more than that - not an entirely bad tradeoff.

I believe you're right, actually. But the mechanics thing I know for a fact is spot on.

Just got my mage to 80 just chaining tw and doing some msq. Definitely a fun class. Frost/Frostfire is pretty banging at the end of the day.
