Just throwing out my monthly minivan raid recruitment. We do BRF Normal every Saturday 11AM EST, could use any ranged DPS/optional healers that want to join us for xrealm raiding on those days - Horde Hyjal. Just friend me on bnet. We're 9/10N and soon moving to heroic.
There going to be any other days for raiding?

I always felt like the gear from BRF did not appropriately match the difficulty. Now I can wear my tier pieces! I might get pushed over 680

I had the good fortune of shoving in the bank my last 4 "non-upgrades" from BRF (it's always the piece you don't really want that comes out of the bonus roll instead of the one you're looking for). I think at least 3 of them are going to be used; the 4th has to compete with an heroic HM warforged. But I still have like 3/5 Highmaul stuff right now, so it's not +5ilvl for me.

I found the whole discussion about "no, no, BRF is NOT the tier 2 of raiding. Really. Believe us" hilarious. Well, if it walks like a duck, quack likes a duck, I guess it's a goose.

Can anyone tell me if the Blood DK 2/4pc is any good in practical use? I tried looking it up, but people generally don't understand the shield mechanic and for some reason perceived it as pure invincibility while vamp blood was up. I understand that it will give you a guaranteed 3%MAXHP Blood Shield for the entire duration of vamp blood. I have some (soon to be) 685 gear in the slots where I can also wear 670 tier pieces, and I'm trying to figure out if the set bonuses > increased stats from my gear.

Edit: Askmrrobot has upgraded characters to reflect the +5 ilvl increase. I went up to 678 which is a bit underwhelming, but that's ok!

Dick swinging at 688. Can hardly walk with this thing.

I'm pretty sure I dug two upgrades out of the trash with the recover tool as well.

Yeah the real shitty thing for me is I was passing on almost all BRF loot because LOL 665 is less than 670 WHY WOULD I WANT THAT. It would be cool to have known this in advance

Silly raidlead, you never pass gears.

On the contrary I almost always pass gear! I took Blast Furnace's two hand axe because it looked fucking cool, I need some multistrike, and no one else rolled on it. Sometimes I think people won't roll if I roll (and some tried to secretly pass me tier gear after they won it)

It's a joke. I know you're looking to gear up the raid and be fair

The boost to foundry gear was needed to make normal tier gear feel like a progression and not a downgrade.

The people crying about this should die in a fire.
