I haven't been able to follow the team the entire season due to school, but from what I've read elsewhere is we have no net presence. While you can get away with that in the regular season it's just not possible to get away with it in the playoffs. The Preds have always been a tough team for us too.

Absolutely would of been a makeup call if Oshie didn't instantly let the official off the hook. You honestly think the refs are against Washington? You guys are like pens status lately. The GI call was a little dumb but he did make slight contact in the paint initially.
Idk whats going on with Toronto. 5v3 aside, caps looked really good tonight and still almost blew the lead. Backstrom and oshie were possessed.

13th in PP opportunities. Despite being one of the top possession teams in the league. 5th in the league for most times short-handed. I'm not sure we've reached Pens status. As for this series, the Leafs have 1 more PP chance than we do so far.
Ovie, backstrom and oshie were possessed. Whole top line have been monsters, Ovechkin has goals in 3 straight games. He did make slight contact (with help from D man), and you heard the ref audibly yell "get out, get out", Bacsktrom immediately tried to exit the blue paint, while Andersen was hanging onto his leg with the glove to pull him back, then D man pushes him in again. It was weak.
Joins the long list of goalie interference calls we've been on the wrong side of in the playoffs. Including the Joel Ward one against Lundqvist in Game 5 two years ago that all 30 GM's (including the Rangers) after the season met about and said should have been a good goal. Those meetings are where the coach's challenge basically came about. Supposed to help them get it right. They should send challenges to the main office, not have the same ref who just made the call review his own decision.

Not sure what's going on with Montreal - they started this game sharp as heck, and now we're heading to overtime. If they played as they did in the first period through the game, they'd be ahead by about 6. Lost focus.

He has a save % above .900 in only 6 appearances in 18 playoff games (not all starts). That includes a .902 and a .903 game, neither of which is great.
