Looks like you got the Millenium? note, your pc is NOT watercooled, your CPU is watercooled, your video cards are still using the factory fans, which is why it's sounding like that.

The Millenium has a total of 9 fans

3x in the top for the cpu/radiator

back fan
bottom fan
hd cage fan
1 per video card and psu fan

that however is not extreme, it sounds about right, there should be some settings on there for 50c/55c or something damned if i know where it's at from Googling.
one review i found so far

Breaking Down Origin PC's Scratch-Built Millenium PC

You're right, it's the CPU that's watercooled. Thanks for the clarification. There are a TON of fans on this thing.

However, the video I posted doesn't actually do it justice. It's loud AF.

I looked at the Origin Review and pretty much this:
And rattling system fans made the Millennium an annoyance at full tilt.

However, it looks like they did alter the article after contacting Origin's customer support. Apparently the fan noise was even worse:
Update 7/25/2016: We updated this review to clarify the issue we had with fan noise based on troubleshooting in cooperation with Origin.

I feel so bad for you. What part of the country do you live in? Rere Bros need to step up and get you some computer help. I'd build you one for free if you were in the Northwest USA. :)

I live in the Southeast. I've built my own PC's before and the one currently in my office is my build from three years ago. I actually got advice in this thread, so thanks!

The ONLY reason I didn't build my own this time around is bc I didn't want to deal with the temperamental bullshit that tends to occur months down the road.

Ironically, this thing had a ton of issues out of the box...

^ You'd have to add watercooling to the GPU's as well to lower the noise. I can't say about those Nvidia's but my R9 390s require the fans to blast full steam ahead. I'm actually about to rebuild the case and watercool the whole goddamn thing.

For the optical drive, have you cracked open the case and made sure the dipshits actually attached it to the mobo?

All the wiring in this thing is hidden and packed away in every square inch of space. It'd be a miracle for me to track the cable to begin with.

And, simply on principle, I'd rather not have to fix computers that I just dropped moneybags on.

I would never even open the case on that thing in general, they'd probably try and void some return/warranty if you did.

yea, that's why i linked you the article, check to see if the fans are "secure" if not drop a 4 washers in between each one and case, or return that shit.

send that shit back yo!

but from various reviews, they seem to have great customer service, just loud pc's/fans.

I actually talked to my buddy who spent TWICE what I spent around the same time and he actually had a great experience.

However, his only issue was the SLI connector. When he talked to them, he had the correct SLI connector within 24 hours.

So, I spent $4500 on an Origin PC and it was the worst mistake of my entire computer-purchasing-life. The only reason I didn't build my own this time around, is because I didn't want to have to deal with the little headaches when things go wrong from building my own. Boy, am I sucker...

I've had the weirdest issues with it and their support SUCKS. For every problem I've had, they basically recommend that I fix it myself and have made no attempt to make it right.

Things that were wrong out of the box:

1. It takes 2 minutes to boot my PC and I have one of the fastest HD's on the market
- They recommended I do a factory reset
- It consistently takes 2 - 3 minutes to boot
Let me guess, you have an Intel 750 PCIe card? If so, yup. It'll take a long time to load. Get used to it.

2. I have two GPU's and the second GPU isn't recognized by the system (2x GTX 1070's)
- They told me that the SLI connector they shipped w my system doesn't support my GPU's (WTF?) and that they'd send me a new one when they got them in stock
- They never informed me of this when I bought the PC and only informed me of the issue after I brought it up
- They didn't give a delivery date for the new SLI connector and I've heard nothing from them in over a month

3. The LED remote for my case lights doesn't work
- They essentially told me they were sorry

4. I've had a black screen pop up 3x bc the overclock settings failed. The first failure happened THE DAY I received the PC.
- They recommended I do a factory reset

Am I a crazy person or is it a normal expectation, that when you spend $4500 on a PC, this shit should work flawlessly out of the box?
For 4500 i could have build something ridic with a 34inch ultra wide 4k monitor :/

On the one hand I'm a little jealous but on the other hand there's so many other things I'd like to buy for the extra $3000 you spent on your PC.

If I was in the southeast I wouldn't mind building a PC for you - hell I'd do it if you took me to lunch. If anyone is in the Northeast US (MA), offer stands.

I will not rape you. I just want that to be known.

Can i get a short bio on who spends 4500 on a pc please.

Business expenses make the world go round.

Also, I've always wanted a crazy good PC, where I could just jack the settings to max and not GAF, and I've had a good first two quarters. Margins in the design world are high, to say the least.

I'm single. I drive a go cart (honda civic hybrid). I'm about to buy a house. I own a design agency that specializes in UI/UX and corporate identity. Just launched my own enterprise software.

I am by no means wealthy, but I have plenty of cash on hand.
