I must say I'm flattered with all the suspicion that I work for SOE. But the truth is I'm just a guy who's been avidly following the news for some time and enjoys some good detective work. I work in an evidence-based field and am a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and the whole deductive reasoning thing. I find putting the pieces together really fun, to the point that I will probably be disappointed when the reveal actually comes and there is nothing left to work out
I migrated here from MMORPG.com because they were censoring this sort of discussion which was extremely frustrating.
Here's me successfully predicting SOE's plans for the unlocking of Gabor's art-

Here's me providing reason without almost any doubt about what the Kobold is-

And here's me predicting the art style of EQN-

I also had a post there providing all the evidence for what Flipmode stated (except the instancing part for which I used heavy logic) but that got deleted. I will now post it here now since I saved it:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
- A system that doesn't tightly restrict roles by class - already hinted by Dave Georgeson during MMORPG PAX east conference
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aI5CRaQvEg;in fact there is a discussion about it here
http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/389233
- Playable races being Human, High Elf, Dark Elf, Kerran, Kobold, Ogre, Troll - we already knew that since they (almost) all appeared on the Gabor art on the official EQN website, and since the Parkinson original displayed playable races
- Norrath being a huge ever-changing world- no news here, this has been known for a while now. Smedley publically said they are "trying to make a world that players create while being in a living, breathing world around them"
- Spells gained passively, by questing, and with books/tomes- Who would have thought?
- Combat has hotbars- nothing new here for an MMO.
- Crafting is important- no surprise here, it's a sandbox for crying out loud. Every MMO maker has the philosophy of making player-crafted items feel valuable!
- Free-to-play with a cash shop- already confirmed by Dave Georgeson on Cursed interview
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVIIIZ6ETtY
- Housing and player-made content- The "world's largest sandbox" without housing, you're joking right?
- Beta soon after reveal - Terry Michaels already hinted we're going to need to help them out in the black box video.

Thanks folks!
