'Titan' is toast. And wow has been a debacle for years. They would have been better off with just making a Warcraft 4 rather then tackle a new mmo, the talent just isn't there anymore. I'm sure Kaplan and pals love being thrown back into a dying game that they have had absolutely no say in for eons. You know those guys are fucking pumped for the new EQ, but I'm sure the overtime hours (aka panic mode) for the next wow expansion will most likely prevent that.

I'm not sure what's more startling, that EQN might launch this year or that 2016 isn't that far off. It's true, but where the hell did the time go and why am I so stuck on reliving an experience from more than 14 years ago?

I think there's some weight to what you're saying and I never considered the PvP guys dregs but more "damn those dudes are pretty beast." I've probably built it up in my head to be far more aggressive than it is (fucking up raids, making my time miserable with ganking, etc.). I'm interested in trying, I just don't want to make a bad call and end up having a bad time.

Everyone has had this.

The only thing I've seen that is rare is actual commericials on TV, and I have only ever seen WoW do it(MMO wise). Otherwise most major MMOs(Made by well known studios or pushed by big publisers) are all over gaming sites, in ads everywhere and at as many conventions as they can.

Imagine it in a EQ style game though. The objectives are the good leveling/loot spots. You don't actually need a Pvp centered objective.

I'm amazed at the level of blue balls in this thread. I shouldn't be, but I am. Regardless of what they reveal this thread is going to collectively explode in rage and nerdgasm as the battle lines get drawn between the white knights and the neck beards. HOF material Inc. Going to be epic.

Yeah I don't know - seems like a recipe for frustration. I'm fine with evelight guilds fighting over resources on Odus or the Karanas or wtf - as long as they're not impacting my leveling for the most part and there are consequences if you gank in highsec areas.

I'd probably be fine with standard PvP it if there weren't zero consequences for randomly killing toons.

Considering how many times I've been kicked in the balls by an MMO, my scrotum is pretty much calloused over at this point.

I'd have thought differently if Titan was becoming a reality, but after all this time and all that money, if they couldn't come up with a revolutionary MMO to take over from WoW, then it doesn't say much for them as a company.

They release one new game every 2 years at least. 2007 TF2+Portal, 2008 L4D, 2009 L4D2, 2011 Portal2, 2013 Dota2. Also CS:GO but they didn't make that iirc so probably doesn't count. In the meantime, Blizzard has released SC2 and Diablo3, and a bunch of wow expansions which hardly count as games.

Portal 1/2 are some of my favorite games from the past 10 years or so, they were amazing. I'm just annoyed they don't make more stuff. Never liked L4D or TF2. Wish they would try some RPG's and stuff.

Blizzard suck though. They hardly make anything anymore and when they do its crap.
